NorCal Brewing Solutions brings you this 304 stainless steel thermowell with grommet custom designed to fit ALL models and sizes of Speidel plastic fermenters and plastic storage tanks. YES! YOU CAN HAVE AN AIRLOCK AND A THERMOWELL on top of your Speidel! Rubber grommet snaps into the 1/2" drilled hole. Accepts standard 3/8” airlocks including “Double Bubble” S-Shaped airlocks and 3-piece “barrel” airlocks. Thermowell is 14” long, with a 5/16” inner opening. Able to accept large thermocouplers. Replaces stock Speidel plastic airlock / bung assembly. PLEASE NOTE: Speidel tanks and fermenters come with ONE lock ring (as part of the spigot). To attach this Thermowell you will need an ADDITIONAL lock ring, which is part of Speidel OEM Spigot (SKU# 2807). Includes our custom-manufactured silicone “V-groove” gasket for superior leak-free performance. Replaces standard rubber gasket provided by Speidel. Works as advertised. Air lock fits perfectly and the probe on my temperature controller fits in the thermowell with no problem.
