Only good for 24 hours but that is better than having concrete secretions that you have to remove. Works as a filter to reduce dust and particles getting into your trachea. If you cough a lot you may find that when the filter gets wet that you can blow the filter out when coughing. Highly recommend. This is for a temporary tracheostomy, not a permanent one.
