This has been a great kayak seat for me all year. Handles getting soaked repeatedly and drying in the sun. Nice thicker cushion.

This pad is both comfortable and convenient. I think the size is just right and the weight is inconsequential when clipped to my day pack. The only modification I made is to use some double stick tape to add a scrap of cloased cell foam packing material to the bottom. I live and go outdoors in the desert. There are no shortage of stickers, needles and thorns here. Having an extra layer on the bottom keeps me from sitting on the wrong side and receiving a poke from a ride along from my last use!

Usually not to harsh on reviews BUT this will be an exception, so I recently ordered the 11/2” thick version and what I got was junk! Two what looks like 3/4” or 1” pads glued together to make the 11/2” cushion, glue stunk to high heaven when I opened the package, had to leave outside on my patio to somewhat lessen the smell. Here I use it on a hunt this weekend and the 2 sections separated leaving this glue residue all over my stand as well as clothing, needless to say I’m aggravated to say the least and extremely displeased with purchase. Save your money and search out a better product from someone that cares about quality and workmanship!

So this little seat is perfect. I was a little hesitant being 6'3" and 230 lbs. but even on hard rocky uneven surface it kept me comfortable for the 30 minute coyote stands. Also, the little dirt and mud wiped away clean and the seat stayed warm and dry. Worth every penny.
