I had the first or second edition I believe of this model sleeping pad and it has lasted me for 15 years and I still have the first one I purchased but decided on this one as Father Time will eventually make the first one fail. This new pad has the same features as the first one in regards to quality. It is well made, it pack s down small and takes little to no run on my panniers...I am a bicycle tourist...I also like the new valve that allows it to be open and self inflate... and deflates really fast. The dimensions are on the narrow side and it is what I wanted. I do not require a big space to sleep and carry a one man tent and the dimensions of this pad more than meet my requirements. Keep in mind Thermarest has other pads that are thicker and wider that you can fit in a one man tent but for me this pad serves my needs. The materials are quality and it is very well made I have used it on top of a thermarest egg crate pad and keeps me warm on 30 degree weather here in Florida. I got this pad on sale so I paid about 90 dollars for it plus I had some credit from amazon so it was a bargain. What I like about this pad is that Thermarest is a great company and their guarantee policy is one of the best in the industry. I hope this review helps as the pad is comfortable, convenient and very practical.

Super comfortable, compact and easy to deal with. A travel buddy I use on the plane, in the waiting area, even at home on my recliner when I need more back support for back pain!

It’s a bit smaller than what I was anticipating, but it did say the measurements on the ad. It’s pretty comfortable, I’ve yet to use it In the outdoors or all nights because Melbourne is still is a stupid lockdown (not the most liveable city) but overall a good product. :)

He aquí algunos puntos a considerar:1.

Completely worth the extra bulk in physical space, this self-inflating mattress is truly designed for rugged camping in highly fast-paced environments in all weather conditions. Especially nice is the slow adjustment knob to get just the right air pressure for custom comfortability in a fast inflating mattress which I have been using for months now as a bed in my home.

Very well made. The heat reflective factor definitely works - you can feel it. I'm a side sleeper and worried that by hip would end up sitting on the ground - but it doesn't. Very good support. Surprising for how thin and light it is. Takes no time at all to blow up. Very happy.

After trying about 3 different kinds of mattresses, I bought this one to take on motorcycle trips. It rolls up very small and the self inflation helps a lot, so I don't need a pump. You just have to let it sit with the valve open for a little while. Probably enough time to go eat or make dinner, give it a couple of puffs and it's good. I have a lot of back pain issues and I sleep on my side. This mattress keeps your side hip from grinding into the ground. Can't feel anything underneath. It's the best one I have found for the purpose I need it for!!!

Living in rural Idaho, I'm constantly enjoying the outdoors. This therm-a-rest pad has been my saving grace. I've used it during fire session while staying on the fire line, I've used it while camping and hiking, plus I've used it at home to just lounge. The compact design is perfect for and pack and bag. Plus, its amazingly light weight. I really enjoy how this sleeping pad provides with cushioning and helps keep me warm. This pad is my main go when I head out for this hills. I like them so much, I actually have purchased 3 of them and given them out as gifts. They have taken huge amounts of abuse and I haven't had a single problem. Love it!

I bought 2 and had to send one back because it did not self inflate at all and what's the point of buying self inflatable mats if they don't work. Replacement didn't inflate real well either but a few extra puffs and it was fine (I had to give the other mat that I kept originally a few puffs as well, maybe this is how all self inflates are). I left them both nflated for a couple weeks and laid on them several times to be sure they didn't leak. They seem to be fine. I plan to go on a 4 week backpacking trip this summer so I am hoping they can take being inflated and deflated daily for that long. I found the mats to be comfortable. Oddly I bought 2 regular sized mats but one is longer than the other, but since I am using one and my husband the other I took the shorter one.
