TG Cleaning Wipes
TG Cleaning Wipes are cleaning cloths for cleaning surfaces so that thermal conductive materials such as thermal pastes or liquid metal can adhere well and thus develop their full thermal conductivity. Assembly aids such as the TG Kapton Insulation Sheet or the TG Shield protective coating also adhere better to cleaned surfaces. TG Cleaning Wipes are packaged as a practical complete set of 40 cleaning cloths.
Clean and degreased surfaces are important so that thermal conductive materials such as thermal pastes or liquid metal can adhere well and thus develop their full thermal conductivity. This is where TG Cleaning Wipes come into play: cleaning cloths for cleaning surfaces. TG Cleaning Wipes contain ten double packs, each with two dry wipes and two wet wipes optimized for removing thermal paste residues.
First, stubborn dirt is removed with a dry wipe before the surface is cleaned with the two wet wipes. In the third cleaning step, the surface is dried and then wiped with a fresh dry cloth.

Worked perfectly, 1st time user, 1st time cleaning for 1st time application of thermal paste to (renewed) HP Z840 2x E5-2697v3. Man, should have down this years ago.

I am an IT professional. I have a team of guys that work for me who all need access to cleaning supplies. One of the hassles is cleaning thermal paste off of chips. I got the TG cleaning wipes because they are a trusted brand.Ease of use: Tear it open, go to town. Couldn't be easier.Cleaning: It gets the chip clean quickly. Even the old dried on paste that sometimes gives you a hard time. It also dries quickly, which makes things more efficient.I recommend these wipes. Make your life easier.

I've reinstalled my cooler a few times trying to diagnose heating problems on my i9-14900k and using these makes the process a whole lot simpler! I've started building old computers for fun and it's handy having these ready to go.

First of all let me say that Thermal Grizzly is the brand I trust most when it comes to anything PC related. Der8aur is more of a consumer advocate that runs a company instead of a businessman trying to understand the consumer just enough to make money off them.Every product I’ve ever purchased from them has been of the highest quality and they stand behind their products. These wipes are literally the best and highest quality thermal paste wipes I’ve seen. They’re nice and thick and work really well to remove paste from the IHS and surrounding areas. It’s not as cost effective as rubbing alcohol and paper towels but it’s a lot more convenient to put in a tool bag. The wipes are big enough so you will only ever need one pouch per CPU/GPU and each pouch contains 2 wet and 2 dry wipes which is usually more than enough. Admittedly these are a bit of luxury if you ever repair PCs and are unnecessary but they are super handy and I like supporting Thermal Grizzly. They’re a great company.

I love these wipes, they're really great and get a chip really nice and clean after messing up an application, or cleaning up a chip that you are repasting.There's something about this solution that is just plain better than 94% alcohol pads. It seems to evaporate much faster and cleaner.I recommend these as a last step after cleaning with less expensive solutions to make sure that your surface is clean and ready for application of paste, putty, or liquid metal.This item is a RECOMMEND!

As a technician I can under stand gravitational pulls towards stuff like this, but in reality I can't really say anything other than you're paying for essentially convenient wet cloths. I decided to use them for the past couple of months to see how they performed...well until I ran out in this case.In terms of the product itself...it's just wipes with alcohol on them, that have the steps of what you're supposed to do in a normal PC. A dry non-static cloth to get the first pass of thermal paste off, then the wet wipes to get the remainder, then finally another pass to make sure it's all clean. It does the job the job well.I do want to personally make it clear, It's not that grabbing something like this is a bad thing or idea per say, but in terms of cost...you're better off making your own. A bottle a Isopropyl Alcohol, Pack of Q-Tips or Make-up Dry Cloths and you end up with the same thing as these wipes. Except in a lot more abundance by the end.Overall, the product isn't necessarily bad or good, it's just...not as cost efficient if you "did it yourself". Meaning there is still good use in these given what they are, but in terms of paying 'x' amount to get 20 uses vs paying 'x' amount for the ingredients separately in my opinion just rings a lot better, given what these consist of in the end. Cloth and Isopropyl alcohol.

Well, these lady few months, I've newborn swapping motherboard and CPU's a lot lately trying to get the right setup and these wipes have come in handy! First, let me say that you get SO many wipes that it should last you months if not years(depending on how much you needed around with your setup).When using these pads, the thermal paste just comes right off. It's almost like it magic but really, all you have to do is wipe it once MAYBE twice and it's clean of any thermal paste. I'd highly recommend!
