The length is perfect even if you have to cut some off, you have the room to work or wrap. I made two lovely necklaces from these pins. The gauge is perfect and I’m glad I purchased these, I’ll be purchasing more.

I make earrings and I love that they are three inches long but there is a burr on the end of every single one of these pens that you have to cut off with your clippers if you can get over that fact, they’re very good. I’m very happy with them. It’s just annoying that I have to do that that’s all, but it’s not a big deal. It’s totally doable.

Extremely pleased with the quality of these eye pins, arrived quickly with not one bent pin! All perfectly straight. These pins are sturdier than most, worth paying a little extra for the best. I use them to hang sequined Styrofoam ball, eggs, etc. To hang my finished decorations, I need straight sturdy pins and these fit the bill to a T. Love them.

So I planned to come skating in here, full of jubilee, to give these pins the most glowing review in the history of reviews. But shortly prior, I went to move one of my projects and part of it fell off. Only then did I notice that a good portion of the eye hooks aren’t closed all the way (see pic). So I had to go back and secure all the ones I had previously used, after the projects were complete, which was a hassle.That said, these are still fabulous eye pins and I’ve already repurchased them - and plan to again. I just go thru them first and cinch them all closed with my crimp tool before starting off. They bend easily where they are supposed to, and still stay straight where they are supposed to. Even being 21 gauge, they still don’t bend in the middle without pressure! And they are all straight when they arrive.My cursing to crafting ratio has been cut back dramatically! Even factoring in the time I have to take to close the eyes first, my production has increased because these are so forgiving to work with. Fingers crossed they don’t tarnish with indoor use.I feel bad docking a star because of the eyes, but it should be noted.Thanks for a great product, BeadChest!
