The product works perfectly well but the description states six, but it is technically only two complete kits be aware. Pictures are accurate.

This is the correct fitting to repair BMW and other European cars that use the bubble rather than a flare. It is a perfect fit for the E39 factory brake lines.

These work for my purposes, but the plating seemed to be typical Chinese. We’ll see how they look after winter…

One of my brake hard lines broke at the fitting that connects to that last foot of flexible line that goes to the caliper. I was able to get a foot of hard line locally to make my splice but it came with the wrong size connectors. I cut one flare off the spare line and slid these in place and then recreated the flare using a Titan - 3/16 Double Flaring Tool (51535). I've been double checking everything repeatedly since the repair and there are zero leaks.

I couldn’t use with confidence. The nuts wobbled when threaded into the coupling. I figured they’d strip out when tightened.

These worked great with the 3/16” copper/nickel pipe I was using. They matched the M10x1 thread on my LR3 brakes.

This set got my van up and running. Pair this with a good flaring tool and you’re in business. My line rusted a hole and got the van going again for cheap and in a couple hours of work. Word of advice, get a quality flaring tool. Don’t waste time and money as I did on the cheaper more readily available tools out there. Purpose built and by a name that values quality. I paid a bit more for that tool and paired it with this coupler set and no issues. Yes This coupler may be no name but it’s doing the job. Can’t say the same for the flare tooling.

We are turning a 1999 Chevy Cavalier into a derby car for Sept. The car we got needs these parts to make the brakes work so we don't have to replace the longest section of brakes. The parts came faster than predicted. We appreciate your diligence. Parts look as is in item photos

Used my pair for two tasksA) Add a union between my longest mid-body line on my mk4 Volkswagen, because the fitting seized to the end, and needed replacing. This long line straddled over the fuel tank, and this union allowed me to add a tight, non-leaking join mid-way along my replacement line's run. This saved me buying a cheap OE replacement line that would've required me to drain, and completely remove the fuel tank. A lifesaver!B) I used just the tube nut fittings to replace two of the stock fittings that had ruined, rusted and cross-threaded threads. The remaining brass union has been set aside for the next car that needs rear brake lines fixed. Both tasks allowed me to complete repairs on my car, and help restore proper braking authority and brake system integrity. When I use up the last union, I will order a set again as a spare.Tool use: The Tube nuts in this set use a M10 flare wrench, and the brass union uses a 13mm wrench to counterhold. My parts were shipped from USA to Canada - it took a little bit to arrive. My advice, if you're intending to do brake line work on a car that has ISO bubble flared fittings, buy one of these ahead. It will save you from unexpected downtime if you need to repair a line, or a borrow from the set to replace just a male fitting!
