These work for the chains on my front tractor tires. They are very strong and very heavy duty. They are a pain to put on (especially when the temps are in the teens) but after plowing with the tractor through mud, snow, gravel and pavement, the chains have not slipped at all. A spring hook tool and needle nose pliers really speed up installation. So far no rust (but I suspect they will eventually rust as they are exposed to a lot of salt and moisture).
