This is a fun game and good gift idea for pickleball enthusiasts. The packaging is very cute, and instructions were relatively easy to follow. It helps to know the basic rules of pickleball as well. There were a couple of typos in the instructions, but once we had a general idea of how to play we quickly got into it. The various pieces, including the dice were all good quality and the graphics were printed on really well. Each game takes about 10-15 minutes to finish. Since there aren’t any other games like this that we’ve seen, I’d say the price is justified. We’d recommend the game to other pickleball enthusiasts as well.

Very cute dice game. The game board is small, but works fine. It is a pickleball court with score keeping numbers on the sides. I love that you mark the score with cardboard pickle-chips! The rules are well explained. Roll the dice and try to get 3 sixes to score a point, or get the numbers to advance your shot on the board. Simple game that moves quickly. I played it with my husband while he was in the hospital and the staff thought it was fun to be playing pickleball in his hospital room!

This game comes with a board, some green dice, a ball standee, cute pickles to keep score with, and several useless extras you can leave in the box. One is pretty much just an ad in the form of a token, like they had some extra space on the punchboard and just filled it with random things. The dice are standard d6's, and I feel like they missed an opportunity here to make custom dice; with a game this simple there isn't much compelling a purchase. The instruction book repeats itself a lot but is somehow still unclear. Here's how the game works:You roll 5 dice Yahtzee-style then choose 3 of the dice to make 444, 555, 666, or some combination of 1-3. If you fail this, your opponent scores. 444 and 555 land the ball in specific spaces on the board, and 666 is either an automatic point or (in the "advanced" rules) an opportunity for your opponent to steal the automatic point by rolling any triple in a single roll of the dice (about a 21% chance). If your 3 chosen dice show 1-3, you add up those numbers and move the ball that many spaces toward your opponent; if it doesn't land somewhere on their side of the board then you fail. They then proceed to hit it back to you in the same way. If the ball lands in the kitchen (the space directly beyond the net) you must roll 444, 555, or 666. Statistically it's best to try to land your ball as close to the net as possible, limiting your opponent's options. For the advanced game, 444 is the best roll, or any roll that puts the ball in the kitchen. 666 is obviously the best roll in the basic game.So far, all my opponents have all gotten bored with the game before it was over. I thought it was kinda fun in a quick-between-other-games way, but it's less fun to play by yourself.

This is compact board game that is easy to transport and takes only a few minutes to learn. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to play and is lots of fun for all ages of pickleball enthusiasts. It’s a great game to take on a trip for light entertainment while traveling.

I got The Pickled Girl Pickleball Dice Game as a fun little gift for my pickleball-loving friends—and it was a hit! Even if you’re not super familiar with pickleball, the game is easy to pick up and full of quirky charm. The dice rolls add just enough unpredictability to keep things exciting, and it really captures the fun, competitive energy of a real match. Finally a pickleball game that plays just like the real thing. Simple Yahtzee type rules make the game super fast to play as you make your shot selection with the dice and move the pickle ball piece on the court.
