Love this! For the price of a couple boxes of bought microwave popcorn, this works great - with no oil - and is so easy! Love that it folds up to store. I wanted an air popper for popcorn, but didn't want another appliance. This was perfect. I use Orville Redenbacher popcorn in a large container (which was very old!) and almost ever kernel pops each time. Would recommend.

A colleague at work was using one of these one day and I was hooked. Fresh popcorn, none of the random ingredients that I couldn't identify, nor the likely hazardous materials used to make the "bag" pop your corn effectively. I could purchase a large tub of good popcorn kernels, pour into this popper up to the marked lines, toss in the microwave and a minute plus later have amazing popcorn. No oils, no chemicals, no random ingredients. Then I could add fresh melted butter, add salt, seasoning, whatever I wanted, but to my levels. Finally!!! Popcorn the way I liked it. Easy to clean, easy to store, easy to maintain.They recommend NOT adding oil or flavors before popping and let me say from experience....follow their recommendation. You'll end up ruining this thing or worse, starting a fire, if not careful. Pop your corn and add whatever you want after.

This popper is now the only thing I use for popcorn. I love the fact that it is so easy to use...just add a small amount of popcorn and stick it in the microwave. Three minutes later pull it out with nearly all the kernels popped (very few un-popped and no partially popped). It is also very easy to clean afterward, with or without using the dishwasher. The popcorn tastes good with no unhealthy fats from oil from pan popped, or chemicals from micro-wave bag popcorn.

I consider myself to be a popcorn afficionado and at one time in my life had popcorn and a beer for dinner every night. This silicone popper is all I use now, for a few reasons. First, it requires no cleaning - simply shake out, and optionally wipe with a dry towel. Second, it compacts down to a very small size for the amount of popcorn that it can produce, so it is easy and light to store. Third, it pops the kernels consistently well and much better than an air popper.It has two, related limitations. First thing, it pops best if you fill it with kernels to the top line. This may make more popcorn than you want. Second, the yield is well under 100% and noticeably not as good as one would get in a pot with oil when done properly. This calls for some care when pouring the popped kernels out into a serving bowl to minimize ( not avoid ) an excess of unpopped kernels.For those that miss the oil or butter, I find it easy enough to melt some butter in a small dish in the microwave, then pour it over the popcorn in the serving bowl. As of late I've been trying a 50-50 mix of butter and olive oil and like it.

I love popcorn and I was gifted some fun popcorn kernels, so I bought this bowl to try them. The first time, I didn’t put butter/salt in until the kernels were popped, and the popcorn with very bland, so definitely add any seasonings when they’re still kernels. So I made another batch and added seasoning and it tasted a lot better. I also didn’t have a sense of how many kernels to pour in, 1/4 cup is perfect for 2 people to share. I followed the instructions and placed the lid on loosely, and it rose with the popcorn and also contained everything. The handles were a little hot, and they also got buttery, but easy to clean. The bottom of the bowl got really hot, so we had to rest it on a pillow on the couch. It was in the microwave for about 2-2.5mins and almost all the kernels were popped, so that was good. It’s easy to clean and I like how it collapses for easy storage (I have a small kitchen). I’m glad I got it, I think with more practice I’ll be able to make perfect popcorn.

Too perfect! Taste is very clean. If only I could stay away from the butter. Stays clean! Just needs a wipe out. Melt butter in a separate micro proof bowl. Very efficient poppingUsing Vons popping corn. No unpopped kernels after about 2 minutes. No mystery oil like packaged micro popcorn packages!

This was an impulse buy I am glad I made!I was smelling microwave popcorn around the office and wanted some. But I want to stay away from the microwave bags and I also want to control what’s in my popcorn.This thing makes great tasting popcorn, and you just need to listen to time between pops to know when it’s done. Handles stay cool enough to grab out of micro. Cleans up easily because there’s no oil. Popcorn is light and fluffy. If you’re making for several people who love popcorn you might need to do two batches. But it’s quick so no worries. I don’t think I’ll ever make popcorn in a big pot on the stove again.

Exactly what I expected when ordered. Have used it about half a dozen times so far and very happy with results. (Have only popped 1/4 cup amounts so far) Almost all kernels popped every time (1-13 remaining). Using it in a Panasonic microwave 1200 watt for 1 min 50 sec. Easy to hand wash.

This is so much easier than popping on a stove or in a popcorn machine.You can add some nonstick cooking spray or oil to it if you want to add flavour or have a seasoning stick to it later.I like to use the garlic flavoured avocado oil sprayIt works best if you add the kernels first, spray a little bit of oil or cooking spray on top give it a gentle shake, and then microwave it.For perfect results. This is the combination that I use.60 g of popcorn kernels, about 3 g of garlic, flavoured avocado, oil spray, but you could probably use any kind of oil. Give it a three second shake up to kind of coat the kerneks, then 2:10 in the microwave.Do all caps, not put the oil in first as the kernels will not pop properly. You really don’t want the silicone tray to be coded or saturated in the oil. He just kind of wanted on the kernels.Possum truffle salt or kernels seasoning mix on top as soon as it comes out of the microwave and give it a shake

Excellent quality silicone tub. Pops accurately as stated once kernels are filled to the appropriate line inside. Bright blue color is great.

I have used this many times since I received it and it works great. Better than my hot air popcorn maker, not many unpopped kernels, easy to clean, easy to store, doesn’t make soggy popcorn, no popcorn on the floor. It takes about 2 minutes and 10 seconds to make a batch of 1/4 cup kernels in my microwave. I don’t use it for a bowl to eat from as I think it might be a bit of a pain to clean after there has been butter in it, I just transfer to a bowl that I can put in the dishwasher, wipe it out and ready for the next batch.
