These are a great idea! They fit a regular can of dog food well and keep it fresh as well as keeping my fridge from smelling after the food has been opened. I wish they were just a little bit taller. I have other canned items that I would love to use something like this for (canned pumpkin for other dogs). The pumpkin is just a tiny bit taller than a standard dog food can but these are too short to use on them.

I used to cover the partially-used can of dogfood with tinfoil (which I reused for many days). It was never very satisfactory. Besides being sloppy, it didn't really seal well enough to keep out the air. I love this container. The can fits nicely inside and the two parts screw together for a nice seal. I think it even has a nice feel to it -- the outer surface has a sort of matte finish that allows a better hold for opening and closing than would a slick surface. A small extra plus -- the basic color is blue and I find that to be happy and soothing. I would suggest that my dogs like it, too, but they're really only interested in what's inside.

Just wow, we tried so many covers to keep dog food fresh and the frig not smelling , none even come close to this.You put the can in it and twist the cover on , absolutely no more smells in the frig and dog food stays fresh!You could use thus for any can also .

This seems to be airtight, or airtight enough. It perfectly fits a regular can of dog food and it easily screws open and closed. The plastic seems durable enough and survived being dropped with a half can of dog food from counter height.

I really like that you can cover the entire can, but it is too short for some cans. I still use it for those taller cans, but the top part just slides down over the can but won't screw down. In the end, I use these daily for dog food and have found them very useful.

Container is easy to use and keeps dog food fresh daily in the refrigerator. No dog food smell in refrigerator anymore!. It's an outstanding product to store dog can food in the original can.
