My dog has mega esophagus so she needs ground up food and Honest Kitchen has been my choice for years! Super nutritious and healthy. It’s affordable too. You can add a little cooked chicken cut up in top after mixing for a plus.

We’ve been feeding Honest Kitchen for years with little issue. Without going into too much detail, we narrowed down our dogs intermittent tummy troubles to this bag of food. After spending almost $100 on this food, hundreds at the vet, and throwing away several expensive dog beds after the fountain of diarrhea landed on them, and spending hours cleaning up liquid poop intermittently for WEEKS y’all…. We figured out that this was the cause.May have just been a bad batch (again, we’ve fed the brand for a long time), but I’m leery of buying any more now. Our dogs usually have zero tummy issues and eat a nice variety of foods. They’re not sensitive.

3.5 stars - On paper, this is a great product. I really like the ingredients listed as well as the ease of preparing a meal. However, the price is very high. I was able to find a comparable product for much less. And although my dog loved the taste and was excited to eat his meal, this consistently gave him diarrhea. He does not have a sensitive stomach and this continued well after the introduction phase and even with pumpkin added. He did not have diarrhea with the competitor. Unfortunately, this didn’t work for my household, but I do think this is a great option for others.

Well...5 out of 5 Hungry dogs here would rather starve than eat this🤦 we've tried every way possible to use this up and make it palatable but no luck. My guess is that there are a LOT of Oats in it as it has a slimy/thick oat like texture that is complete mush and very hard to work with🤷 even adding the powder over a bit of shredded chicken made them turn their noses up at their chicken which is unheard of. I guess I don't understand the great reviews. Our favorite here is Ziwi - they will even eat that dry..but SO expensive. Good luck !

My dog has belly issues so I have been trying different foods for him. I put a smaller than recommended amount of this mixed in with his kibble and he eats it all. His belly seems to be fine with it so I am happy with this.

Easy to mix up and give twice a day. One of our dogs has diabetes and must rmeat a hearty meal with his insulin shot. This works perfectly. The only dog is Almont toothless so he is very happy now.Mine are small breed dogs so this lasted 2 months.
