It’s easy to make up, I dole it as a topping to other foods. Both my Goldens love these products. The ingredients look full and healthy. My dog trainer says this is quality stuff. I’ll order another box next week. They are expensive but really go far.Just add water and stir. Then the next day you’ll add a bit more water.

Our dog loves the Honest Kitchen dehydrated foods and seems to be thriving on them. I buy this one and the plain beef and the turkey and rotate them. I also use some of the HK toppers, to give her variety, along with a few fresh veggies and greens. Her last blood work was impressive on this regime.Based on several years of this HK Beef with Salmon and the other two HK dehydrates I highly recommend these products. It is easy to measure out a certain amount into a bowl and add water. I then wait about 6 or so minutes for it to hydrate, stir in the topper and or grated carrots, some torn up greens, a bit of egg, etc. Easy!!

Unfortunately, even though I feel this is a good food, my 14 year old wouldn’t eat it. Company was extremely understanding and I had no problem getting my money back.

I spent several day's looking for the best dehydrated dog food after finding out my frenchie had to get away from chicken ingriedents. this was the only brand I could find that didn’t have “chicken” as a filler protein. Once we received our order we slowly weened her into this new food only to realize that the box is almost entirely oats. You will see noticeable carrot chunks, but it even smells like oatmeal. I was hoping to at-least see chunks of rehydrated salmon and beef, but was left disappointed and realizing that it’s most likely powdered dehydrated beef and salmon that they include. The smell annd look reminds me anlot of those “food toppers” that they sells at the store, it’s basically powdered dried meat. After a week of having her on this food only , she started having vomiting episodes with bloating and not even being able to finish her bowl, probably due to the amount of oats they add which can upset a dogs tummy and cause other issues. Feels like a waste of money and deff not the quality I expected .

I decide to pay the higher cost for the Salmon and Beef Formula. The front or side of the box does not mention that it fills with eggs. Eggs are the 5th ingredient on the list, but advertised are ingredients that are further on the list to lure in the consumer. I can’t believe I got suckered into the “fine print” trick. This dishonesty has led to lots of midnight wake ups due to a puppy scratching his ears. :( Please market your packaging to be honest and transparent so consumers don’t buy the wrong product.

We typically make our dog’s food from scratch. This is a great product to supplement.
