This is a must have for any rider, it's durability for a visor is standard the pinlock sticks well with a great seal, it functions as it should and the tint when it hits the sun is perfect not too dark but keeps the sun from blinding you. At night the visor goes clear and all is well. Great product anyone who rides needs one!! Trust me its a great investment its durable and has good tint!!

Visor fitment was spot on however the photochromic barely gets darker at all, would absolutely NOT recommend the photochromic because it doesn’t help with sun one bit.

This visor isn’t even for the rf-1400. It has the wrong latching mechanism. Better off forking out the money and buying an oem one from shoie.

How can I not like this visor? It has the perfect amount of tint to block out the sun when riding towards it, though it is a bit dark for daily use. For me, it's just right. However, riding with the visor at night is challenging due to reduced visibility.The quality and price are amazing. While it may not be as smooth as the official Shoei visor, it's a great value, and I would buy it again. I got caught in the rain, and the coating on the visor made the rain bead off, saving me from having to wipe it. Installation was easy on my Shoei RF1400, and the Shoei Evo pinlock fit perfectly. I've had this visor on my helmet for over a month now and I'm very satisfied.

This shield does fit on to my shoei helmet. While it could go darker it does go to a light smoke. If you were to buy this think of it going only dark as a pair of cheap gray shades. For the convenience of not having to constantly swap shields I think it is a good buy.

A great visor, clear for early commutes and tinted for the afternoon ride home.Safety and great vision with this photochromic visor! Works perfectly and responds to the sun very quickly. Always effective for any light conditions.Perfect fit, and adds “bling-factor”!

Doesn’t fit quite as well as the original Shoei but it’s well worth the $40.00. I often commute to work in the bright morning sun and then home in the dark and it handles both nicely. Will definitely buy again.

Held in the sun for 5 minutes and it was the lightest tint ever. I put on my helmet and tried again just in case you know that would make it work better...still didn't work any better. It's so light you can clearly see your face. I looked at the sun and the best I can tell is I ruined my retinas. So honestly not sure how much sun it's blocking. I decided to try it over the 200 dollar transition lense, but looks like I'm shelling out the money for the real thing. Save your time and money.

Purchased this for my shoei rf1400, i have road about 6800 miles with it and it workes well. Adjusts nicely and quickly, and the tint is adequately dark most of the time. The exception is when riding into the sun it could be alittle darker, but its still much better than a standard clear lense. Then when the lense is clear its not perfectly clear; It still has a very slight shade to it. You can still see enough to safely ride at night with a good headlight but its noticable. Lastly it does scratch kinda easy when things like small stones hit it. Ultimately a good lense for the price. Fit and functions well. I would buy it again.

Works fine, looks pretty durable and thick. I had no problems installing my pinlock. I did not have a problem fitting perfectly with no issues. I did not find the video on how to install it either. It's so dark that driving at night with it down could be dangerous.It also fits on the seal perfectly. Had no issues. Fits just like OEM.This thing is definitely too dark. Even in moderate brightness its so dark. I have to ride with the visor up.
