It takes a lot to fill. I have 2 full pillows, lots of stuffing from a third pillow and a large coffee can in the middle for support.

I bought this as a stepping stool for my puppy so she can get on and off the bed easier. After some training she's using it regularly. It's the perfect height, about half the distance from floor to bed. It took more "stuffing" than I thought it would but with some arrangement it's pretty stable. I wasn't expecting it to be as pretty as it is. The colors are vibrant with some metallic thread to jazz it up. The material seems sturdy enough to withstand a few years of doggy gymnastics.

I bought 2 of the exact same poufs (the black 18” x 13”). One is beautifully crafted and the other was haphazardly put together with holes where things weren’t sewn together. The good one has seams sewn together nicely and seems extremely durable. The quality seems good and it is beautiful fabric. The other one, I don’t think will withstand being stuffed without tearing apart. So I am going to have to either hand sew the seams myself or return the item before I try to stuff it.

I've ordered a few of these from various different brands over the years, & this one was one of the more durable & better smelling (often times things made in India have a very distinct, musty, made in India, smell). These didn't stink which was nice. While the durability is better than some others I've ordered these types of ottomans are still on the delicate side...if you overfill you can easily bust a zipper...gotta be careful w/ these, but they sure are beautiful! Mine looked exactly as pictured!
