HOW TO USE THE BETTER ICE SCRAPER
Place both edges in contact with the window. Lead with ice teeth to chip ice, lead with the frost edge to clear frost. Avoid using ANY scraper when sand is present since sand is harder than glass and can cause scratches.

This works pretty well to chip ice and clear snow at same time; however, if your short, with a taller vehicle, it’s next to impossible to be able to scrape the middle of your windshield. There’s no extendable handle or anything, so you’re out of luck, unless you have another one that reaches further in your car, or you just have to wait for defroster to kick in.

PURCHASED 12/2024 - The Better Ice Scraper for Car Windshield | Fast, Efficient, Ergonomic | Chip & Clear Ice | Patented Shape Shifting | Durable Brass AlloyPurchased this because the ones with the long handles is a bit much for me to handle. This works ok but not great. It's decent in a pinch but not exactly my go-to dependable ice scraper. It's not easy to hold when really having to scrape. The cut outs for finger grips is too small, even for my small fingers. Will still be looking for a better solution.

The windshield ices almost every day and it's incredibly annoying to press hard only to scrape a tiny line. Plastic blades just don't work. They get dinged and then streak and it takes forever to accomplish very little.I bought this for the brass blade and thought it would be bigger, but it's actually fine. Being able to hold it in your hand and press from the top is effective, but the downside is that if your car is tall, like an SUV typical in a snowy area, it can be difficult to reach the middle of the glass. I wish they would add a clip on handle similar to a curling stone (🇨🇦 represent!) to make it easier to get the whole windshield.

I live in the Northwest Territories. Summers are beautiful, but winters are long and demanding. Best thing to do is - Be Prepared. Was tired of using the typical plastic scrapers that just didn't cut it (the ice that is). No matter how wide the old scraper is - the cleared surface is sometimes less than an inch wide. After a particularly frustrating scraping session, I decided to see what other options are out there and so glad I did. Easy to hold and I like that both the front and back work in the same hand position and offer different benefits - without having to flip it around. Saves time on a cold morning and it's a much better ergonomic experience. I'm going to re-order for friends to make their cold winter mornings, just that much better. I have no affiliation with the company, but genuinely find this a helpful winter tool that is an excellent addition to my winter routine.

This scraper does the job! However, there is no handle and I'm too short to reach the center of the windshield. I'm 5'4" btw.

If you’ve never used a brass scraper, it’s infinitely better than anything else. Plastic will scratch glass; brass won’t. The square design makes it even better.
