Reusable through dry erase
We recommend correctable pens for long-lasting outlines and dry-erase markers for short-term drawings. The dry-erase markers can easily be erased with fingers or pieces of cloth, erasing the correctables requires the use of the erasing tip.
The use of a damp cloth or micro cloth is required for most markings after a couple of days (a little rubbing alcohol can help too), this also helps against smudging. No pens or markers are included.
Easy transport and storage
The classic board is foldable and measures 13.5'' x 11.5''x 0.4'' fully folded. The classic box measures 13.75'' x 11.75'' x 1.75'' and can easily fit in a backpack. This leaves some empty space in the provided box that can be filled with dice, miniatures, map tiles, rulebooks, sheets, and markers.
The drawings can be left on the board when folding. This is convenient for multiple gaming sessions requiring the same terrain.
The XL board and box are slightly bigger: the board is 17''x11''x0.75'' fully folded and the box is 17.25''x11.25''x 2''.
The boxes are compatible with Hexers GM Screen. It fits in the box next to the board.

It works fine , if the dry eraser ink is left on for a few days it need to be washed off just erasing will not do. After a year of use it ripped at the fold (just paper holding the 4 panels together) Ruff use. I am ordering 2 more I need more map space.

The board is described as of a vinyl material, however it is board with a thin vinyl layer, not an accurate description. I think it is over priced for what it is.The hex and square sides are great, giving a GM a choice for the situation in his/her game.It comes in a sturdy box, and that’s probably worth keeping it in the box, as I could see the board being damaged in transit.The folding and unfolding of the board, could be an issue over time, and damage the board.The board is a good size, and should accommodate most RPG battle situations.

Yes I love TTRPG and this is handy for that for sure, but also I have an autistic child and the grid I think encourages him to draw, so that's been my primary use.Note: make sure you fold it carefully as folding it the wrong way can tear the panels apart.

Ein wirklich cooles Brett. Groß für das Spielen von Dungeons and Dragon, aber ich weiß nicht, ob es das Problem mit dem Brett oder die Marker oder den Schwamm, die Amazon empfohlen, aber es scheint, sie nicht sehr gut löschen. Ich werde im Laufe der Zeit sehen, aber für den Rest ist es cool.

Lorsque j’ai commencé à chercher une surface quadrillée pour jouer à DD5, ce n’était clairement pas mon premier choix : trop cher.Néanmoins, après avoir étudié la plupart des autres options, j’ai vite compris que les autres n’allaient pas tenir dans la durée, car trop fins ou peu solides.J’ai donc acheté celui-ci, et je n’en suis pas déçue. Il s’efface bien, reste protégé dans sa boîte, et offre assez de place pour permettre de vraies batailles.Je ne regrette donc pas mon achat.

I bought this board to play D&D on, and it’s withstood everything I’ve thrown at it. From full campaigns, to mini games with our youth ministry, I would highly recommend this board!The only side note would be DON’T fold it the wrong way or it can split the seam. (Had a student fold it backwards, lol)

This thing is perfect for purpose, especially once you get some whiteboard pens. It’s a good size and shape for most tables and It folds down to a descent size for taking out with you. It’s solid and flat so it doesn’t curl up in the corners or get creased up. The extra room in the box is great for fitting in extra stuff to take with you like dice, character sheets, note pads, pens and miniatures for your quest. The fact you can draw all of your scenery saves money because helps with creating an immersive quest without having to buy loads of scenery miniatures.I bought this for a particular quest I had planned and drew it out on the board as soon as it arrived. I was ready for our quest in a couple days but when that day came some of the party couldn’t make it so I flipped the board over and scribbled up a improv quest on the fly. I didn’t need any scenery pieces because I could just draw them on, everyone who got there was still able to play, we all had fun and I was still able to run my planned quest the next week.If I had any issues it would be that the pen get hard to run off if it’s left on for longer than a couple days but You can use a cloth and maybe a little spray of window cleaner or something to do the job. This isn’t really the boards fault but it makes it hard to have a reoccurring location over several weeks without having to redraw it each time or worry about permanently marking the board.Also I’ve only had it a couple months so we’ll see how long it holds out.To sum things up I’m really happy with the board and may think about getting the XL version if my quest calls for it. I recommend it to anyone.

This should be the only "mat" you ever need! First, the board folds very well. No sticking. No Stiffness Second, the board is high quality board game cardboard...not the new stuff that breaks up easy. I'm talking old school last for generations board. Third, it's double sided with squares on 1 side hexagons on the other. Fourth, I have used both dry erase and wet erase on this thing and both come off super easy. Fifth, The box is big enough to hold supplies, my dice, and notebooks. It's also small enough to fit in my bag of holding. I have used this now for quite a few sessions and it is doing great...I even left a map on the board for 2 weeks and it cleaned right off.

The Hexers role playing game board is exactly what I needed and expected. I have used other products advertised as "Battle Grid" that were porous and did not erase well. However, this playing board was perfect. I started a new campaign on Friday and debuted the Hexers role playing game board. I used Expo colored dry erase markers with the game board and it erased perfectly and left no ghost outline of the previous drawings. My players were very happy with the map board! This is essentially a Whiteboard quality gaming board in a box. The board folds up and stores in the included box. Another feature to the folding, is when you are tight on space, you can only use one quadrant of the board, or half if you desire. With having squares on one side and hexagons on the other, it is like having two maps in one.Thank you for making such an amazing product!
