This endoscope is an amazing value that compares favorably with ones costing much more. Basically, itʻs a tiny camera on the end of a flexible cable connected to a screen. In this case, itʻs a very long sixteen foot cable that can be snaked to inspect HVAC ducts, threaded into walls to look for mold or pests, or used in tight places to diagnose mechanical issues inside engines or machinery. There are LED lights on the end, and the camera not only exceeds the stated focal range, but I was able to push it under a door, Mission Impossible style, and have a fairly well defined image of the room and furniture on the other side. Images within the focal range were very sharp and had good color rendition. The four-inch screen is bright and sharp, blowing away the tiny two-inch monitor on my older and much more expensive scope. Included tips allow you to see at a right angle, pick up with a magnetic tip, and hook objects like a ring that fell down the sink. No memory card is included, but I was able to take several pictures so there is some internal memory to tie you over until you get a proper card. An amazing tool and an unbeatable value.

Crystal clear image. Easy to operate. No concerns getting your personal device dirty or damaged on the job using one of the plug in ones.

I purchased a similar product from the Big Red Box tool store a couple years ago and, while it was effective for it's time, this new unit has so many better features. For example: the 16.5' cable is more than twice as long as my original. Rechargeable integrated batteries instead of a bunch of AA Alkaline. The ability to take and store pictures and video on a microSD card. In fact, the only feature the old scope has that this one does not is the ability to connect it directly to an external monitor (I should also note there that I never used that option). There are scopes out there with more and better features and larger screens...but not for the $50 price point.

Up till not I've struggled with accessing joist or stud cavities during my home inspections without causing unnecessary sized openings. And finding a borescope with a decent image and a clear large screen has never been cheap. So this one came as a complete surprise for just how simple and well it works. The camera is on a long cable, is thin and has an integrated led ring that easily lights up joist cavities. I appreciate that it's not fish eye like some options but the I love the thought behind the addable attachments. Between the hook and magnet I can easily find use for this even around my house. Rescuing nails, jewelry or even fishing wires, it's made many annoying task easy.I've had no issues with the case or quality of construction, the housing is rigid but not heavy. The cable is pliable but rigid, easily bending and keeping it's shape.Honestly it's a steal at $50 dollars and I highly recommend this borescope if you have any use for one.

Wow! Just... wow! I was not expecting this kind of quality for this price range. As soon as I opened it, I thought that maybe there was a mistake in the price. But no. Its real. Thankyou for giving us such a great tool. Such a nice and clear view in the display. The adjustment in the brightness of the light, the flexibility and rigidness, the recording option, the tips, its rechargeable, etc. Amazing! Small and Lightweight. Easy to use in real time. Haven't recorded with it yet. I particularly got it for a septic tank that I need to verify and a few other things. But I'll definetly use it to work on my truck and sooooo many other things. I'm really happy with this order. Definetly worth every penny.

This is onlyxthe second one of these ive ever tried. The first was pretty terrible and this is a huge upgrade from that . I like the picture on this and the screen size is good. The attachments are a hook , magnet thats not super useful and an angle mirror. I'm not sure there is a lens at all which is kinda weird. It says it the book that there is a film or something over the lens and to be careful not to damage it?? Which is hard to do when your feeding this stiff cable and trying to hold the screen from falling all over the place. Really need to get some kind of mount to hold the screen so you can use both hands. I used this to see where my coolant leak is coming from and discovered some other oil seepage areas around the engine as well. Definitely got the lens covered in oil and sand a couple times. As far as i can tell no damage was done. Seemed like the gunk got in between the lights but it cleaned off ok. I have not used an SD card in it yet. All and all it functions as it should and lpossibly the wording just has me overly concerned? The camera picture is very clear and I'm happy with the results of using it 100%. I did think the battery life was a bit short but I was using the light the entire time and got caught up in looking at everything I can't usually see so I'm not sure how much time passed, Several hours I'm sure so I can't complain about that. The biggest issue for me was having to hold on to the screen the entire time and having no way to secure it. There is no magnetic feature on the screen and the camera lead is really all you can hold on to comfortably. It's just not one of the type with the big handle andxthosexstill reguire you holdxl on so not much different. I am searching for some kind of clamp on device with bendable arm and cradle to use with this before using it again - this would be a really cool thing to include at least a cradle that could be attached some common multi mount system like perhaps go pro mounts.. which are highly versatile. I'm sure I will find away to use my go pro mount with this finding a proper cradle will be the hard part. I looked through the book and didn't see any accessories offered there but still looking!!

This is perfect for running wire or refrigerator/freezer water lines through walls or ducts! Awesome for piston and cylinder inspections! Drain inspections! It’s pretty handy even for appliance repair and inspection of fridge coils! Drop an earring down the drain….you can retrieve it with this no problem! This unit comes ready to use! No messing around with wifi or smart phones or tablets. It comes with its own dedicated viewing screen. I have owned those ones and they are not nearly as good as this…much better images too!Great features that make this unit by Teslong very useful:1. Large viewing screen (4.3 inch)2. Fully rechargeable (includes usb cord)3. High resolution (1 megapixel HD CMOS)4. Pictures or video5. Includes tools (hook, magnet, 90 degree mirror).6. Can adjust light intensity (3 levels)7. Digital image rotate 360 degree8. Record pictures or video to send digitally when problem solving or sharing with customers (SD card slot - must purchase separately)9. Water proof IP67 camera head and flex wire10. 12 month warranty11. 78 wide angle lens for viewing12. 16.5 feet length13. 3 cm to 15 cm focus length - seems to auto focus when between this distance away from the intended objectOverall, I was very impressed with the features and function of this borescope. The 16.5 foot length stays rigid up to about 3-4 feet and then starts to bend. Great if you’re sliding it along duct work or something like that. So it’s semi-rigid but does bend if not supported. The menu allows you lots of customization.

I’m probably the only one to comment on the packaging material, but as a consumer I believe that if the manufacturer takes time, effort and costs to make a good first impression there is at least a better likelihood that they have a quality product. So, this is one package with foam insert that I’ll keep to store the unit in when not in use. This isn’t my first borescope (also called an endoscope) with a flexible probe but it is certainly my best. No more downloading an App, signing up and then having to connect to the wifi adaptor (and keep connected!). And, worst of all for me is juggling the flexible probe while trying to hold my cell phone and keeping the image in focus and right side up…what a pain. No more with this unit, as it’s all in one, with a large screen and button to rotate image as required. The built in 1500mAh battery will be more than enough for any use I’ll need it for. (Uses a USB 2 Micro cable for charging) The viewing angle of 78 degrees is better than my other unit and the specs on this model (TS43), say that the depth of field or focal distance is between 3cm to 8cm (1.2”- 3.2”). This is important so that you’re not forever moving the probe back and forth to keep whatever you are looking at in focus. I think they’ve understated this particular spec as during my test the focal distance is almost twice this range, which is awesome! The only thing, and it’s not really a complaint, is that the unit has internal storage without the SD card and no where can I find how much storage there is. You can press the snap button (photo) and take photos but the manual doesn’t say how to delete them. After playing around I discovered you have to press M, the mode button, to view the photo and then the settings button to delete one or all photos. All in all, well worth it.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Exceeds expectations⭐⭐⭐⭐ = As described⭐⭐⭐ = A flaw or two⭐⭐ = Serious drawbacks⭐ = No, thank you
