The wider head acts like a washer and spreads the tightening force on plastic and carbon water bottle cages. I have had cages crack in the area around the bolts not from over tightening but just the stress from a few years of removing and reinserting water bottles. These are low profile as well. I also use them to cover unused fender or rack braze ons. Fills the threaded hole, protects the threads and keeps them from filling with dirt or debris.

If you are trying to watch weight going for that ultra-light bike, these titanium screws are every bit as light as they claim; i measured them on a food scale & the claims are accurate. They thread in smoothly & the low-profile flat head just disappears when screwed in. The color/paint doesnt flake off & the allen key slot doesnβt slip when these screws are installed/removed. Great product.

The black screws are magnetic and are therefore NOT titanium as written in the description.

I wanted a low profile screw to attach a locking Pelican wallet...Pelican Wallet - G5 Personal... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09S5YHRP7?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share...to my bicycle water bottle braze-on. These worked perfectly and maximized the space inside for a car key, debit card, credit card and cash. I was looking for a replacement for Canyon Endurace CF upper frame bolts and these fit perfectly! Recommended as it's quite difficult to find similar low-profile titanium bolts anywhere else.

The bolts felt a little small when threading them into the fork and frame, though I have no idea if it is the frame or bolts. Ultimately, they threaded and seated well. I do not have any of them actually fastening cages, racks, or fenders, so I cannot address the strength I that regard. So far they are purely plugging holes in an aesthetically pleasing way. The company follow-up after purchase was extremely helpful and informative. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again.
