This stuff is incredible! Sheets entirely made of plastic, fully printable and can be cut, yet nearly impossible to rip or tear. This 10mil specifically is the thickest version they make and some, dare I say most printers won’t be able to fuse hot enough to adhere toner to them, so be sure you have a higher quality machine to do it. Don’t expect your HP LaserJet to handle this, it won’t. Despite its difficulty with lower end printers, this is truly spectacular paper and really stands out from the crowd!

I am a writer on the side with an important research project that may be immensely important for humanity. With this key project in my life i like to print up a manuscript of my progress so as to have hard copies stored in certain areas in case any of my digital copies are lost or stolen. I have learned from my past experiences that if you are working on a subject matter that is potentially involving classified activities, you need to have all kinds of locations spaced out geographically that contain the chunks of your work in the form of a hard copy. With important typed knowledge, it is important to have it on a type of material that will allow it to withstand the test of time. There are ancient texts inside the Harvard library as well as the Vatican that are written on animal skins and pieces of metal with the words engraved in the metal slabs. With this top notch waterproof paper from the Terra Slate brand; i have located a great way to preserve my ideas in progress. While it may not be the kind of preservative material the anoints used; i am sure it can withstand thousands of years.I am very happy with this paper and although it is expensive, its definitely worth the money.I am satisfied with this paper and suggest you try it out

This paper is so cool. I used it as an art material because I'm always looking for new materials to work with. It doesn't rip, if you heat it up, it doesn't melt. I ironed it and it wrinkled on the hottest temperature. When cutting it with a razor blade, if you cut it once and not all the way through, you can make really crisp pretty folds. Super glue holds it best. In fact good luck getting it apart if you made a mistake. It curls very well, if you treat it like curling ribbon and run the sharp edge of scissors against it, it curls. It took permanent marker best though it was very easy to mark with any pen or pencil I tried. It's great for making packaging for custom products. I used it to make my seed packets for this year. The one gripe I had was there were no instructions on how to print on this paper. They want you to purchase their printing services. What's the point of advertising a printable paper if you don't tell me how to print it?

I ordered this because I was running low on yupo, which is a polyester paper intended for artists and most commonly used with alcohol inks, alcohol markers, and watercolors. It's become a beloved substrate for art where I want my colors to appear with maximum brilliance, and it works well for palette paper as well, while being even more environmentally friendly since it's washable (use either water or alcohol to dissolve the previous color) and reusable. Since this is also a polyester paper, I ordered this in the equivalent to a cover stock thickness, and the 11"x17" size, which will allow me to make larger art pieces with it, use a sheet here or there to make a cover for a booklet, or cut it down into smaller pieces for smaller paintings. This is pretty equivalent in weight to most watercolor and mixed-media paper, or to printing cover stock. It'll work well for smaller posters and signs when printed, even if they're placed outdoors and exposed to the weather. While the price of 100 sheets of this seems staggering at first glance, it's more comparable to a specialty art paper than a copy paper, and an equivalent quantity of Arches watercolor paper (in a hot-press finish most similar to this) in the same size is actually more expensive. But as long as your inks are lightfast, this will last at least as long as a paper-based medium, and be less susceptible to damage to the substrate from humid climates.

This stuff is amazing. Yes, it's a bit pricey but it's so worth it. Laminating is such a pain. You have to find your laminator, wait for it to heat up and the process of actually heating is so slow. I have to laminate approx. 12 things once per week and its usually an hour-long process sometimes longer. This waterproof paper is the answer to that. All I do now is print, and I'm done in 5 minutes.I did use my guillotine cutter to cut some of the paper in half. Which worked perfect so I can use it as 8-1/2 x 11. Print look great and actually looks better on this paper. Surprisingly the colors are more vibrant, and the blacks are deeper using this waterproof paper. Yes, you do need to have or have access to a laser jet printer as this will not work on an ink jet printer as the ink will just wipe right off. Laser Jet uses toner and heat to melt the image onto the paper. The product comes in a variety of thicknesses and sizes. The one I used was a 10-mil paper which is about 3 sheets of normal printer paper thick. The end result was a document that is now almost indestructible. Water just beads off it and if it does get dirty it just wipes clean. Now I'm calling it paper but it's more like plastic. A very thin sheet of white plastic. The surface of the paper has a satin like look and feel to it and its super strong impossible to tear and makes your documents look great. I'm using this waterproof paper to print recipes on to store in a binder. This way they are easy to clean with they get dirty and will last a lifetime. Same process as regular paper you can easily punch a hole in this paper. Amazing paper that looks great and save me a ton of time.
