We ordered this tubing for venting our dryer from the floor to the ceiling, and then about 12 feet horizontally out of the house. I felt the need to write a review to make it clear to anyone reading that YES, it is actually the foil-like tubing with PAINT on the outside. It is not white vinyl and not two ply. It is actually white paint. I also held the tube up to a fluorescent lightbulb and saw the "pin holes" another reviewer mentioned. I don't think they are actually holes. If they are, we are too desperate for a new tube, (our old one was the white vinyl), to care, and a little dryer air coming into the basement, which has not been detected, would have been OK. Anyway, if you have to go long length like this, after some days, expect some slouching and needing to move it more taught... unless you don't care with the bulges and then it's probably not necessary. Air will out, and gunk inside the foil tube is what will be the need for replacing this in the future. Clamps, one worked, one didn't... not sure why, hubby's words, so he used an old one. If you have trouble getting it to fit over a rigid pipe, spray some silicone spray on the rigid pipe.. it really helped. I think nonstick spray from the kitchen would work, too. Anyway, MOST IMPORTANTLY, for drying a large load of sweats and darks from a washer that does full baskets of wash and rinse water, it cut down dry time from about 75 minutes to 55 minutes, and THAT is what I wanted!

The white color is outstanding as it gives the " same old same old " a kick in the fanny compared to the shiny silver.

Lo utilicé para salida de un calentador instantáneo hacia una ventana con un deflecto de 10 cm. Viene en una caja pequeña, compactado como un acordeon, no tiene terminales de adaptación en los extremos para ajustar al calentador y el declecto, es un tanto flexible paro tuve que cortar un poco el cable para ajustarlo. Viene con sus dos abrazaderas. Y adapté unas abrazaderas para tubo pvc de 2 pulgadas, las cuales alargué para que pudieran sostener el tubo que parece un verdadero acordeón y es difícil dejarlo sin soporte. Lo probé una ves y quedó perfecto, buena compra, no le puse 5 estrellas por carecer de las terminales adaptadoras en los extremos, que en la fotografía pareciera tenerlos.

I love the flexability. I needed a longer hose because of the exhaust being in the basement window. Easy to install. The clamps are very easy to tighten with your fingers until you snug it up with a screwdriver. Good product.

I liked your duct very much indeed. It arrived on time. Compared to my old duct it's like night and day. I particularly liked the fact that its links are kind of glued together, so I did not need to cut the duct to my required length, only to stretch it to the length I needed and leave the rest intact. The duct's color is bright white which fits our white utility room where it now resides. It feels strong and well built. Now it only remains to see if it lasts as long as the old duct it replaced. By the feel of it I am sure it will, and more...

I love that its in white as it is more reflective than the foil ones ( tested with lumen tester.) Zero issues, extremely durable material, if you are buying this for a fan and or filter... none of the filters fit around the fan enough to clamp it... so buy 2 EXTRA clamps so you have 1 for filter 2 for fan and 1 for wherever you are venting to.
