Use these to extend wires on fans for my rabbit cages. Also, use for work to put multiple wires as bridge. Great and easy to use.

I had high hopes for this to securely hold a pair of copper electrodes for mini-spot welding battery tabs. Instead, the metal bits fit so loosely into the ceramic that the electrodes wobble everywhere. I'll have to fix them in place with Superglue. The electrodes are AWG 8, I think, and barely fit. The ceramic seems a bit delicate but will probably be adequate.I guess I get why it's wobbly-- unlike plastic, the metal can't be molded into it, so it's slipped in afterwards. I would have gone with plastic, but I wanted something heat resistant in case a lithium battery flamed up on me. The mechanical tolerance is miserable and the specs for wire size vague.

These barrier strips are compact and great to use for test projects. Be advised that the screw terminal slots are pretty small, so you would need a very thin screwdriver to screw the terminals down. There are two mounting holes in the strips, which are also small. Would need a #4 screw to fit through it.
