This is great for picking up the balls before leaving the court, but I do with the handles pivoted at the bottom, meaning you didn't have to bend over so far to get the balls out of the hopper. The construction seems fine. I'm not sure how long the rubber/cushion handles will last. This is a great choice If you just want to make your final cleanup and keep your balls together during storage.

This hopper is the perfect size for individual use and practice. The skinny/tall form makes it MUCH easier to store than the traditionally larger ball hoppers. However the welding on my hopper is pretty shoddy. I have sharp metal pieces sticking off the top of the hopper's rim (pics included). When I first reached my hand down into the basket, I actually brushed one of these sharp pieces, cutting my hand and drawing blood. I'll need to file these pieces down in order to make this basket safer to use. Also, as someone who's used multiple tennis hoppers- this is the first hopper I've seen where the handles don't fold down to form a stand. This hopper only sits on the ground. This becomes an issue, as you'll have to bend over to pick up a new ball each time. Much less efficient than when the hopper stands at waist level with you.

I bought this so that I could go to the tennis courts and just practice my serves. It picks up balls so easily and it holds about 24 tennis balls, which is just great for me and my practice.

Used for pickleballs. Balls by-passed spring and entered hopper easily. Previously stored balls in a bag but now use this to do double-duty. Handles fold down to take less space in car. Cheap foam rubber on handles I reglued before first use since they were not aligned or adhered very well (minus one star for that). The top opens to empty hopper. I prefer this metal one over the plastic tube type one that I own.

Metal frame is sturdy. Easy pick up for picketballs and tennis balls as well. Small size is a plus for short games

Somewhat disappointed with the product, not enough height to pick up the ball, still need to bend down to pick up the ball, the sponge at the handle is already cracked
