Bought this because it was the cheapest one, and a new brand, id rather chance it with this brand than to buy netgear, works as expected no issues yet

This is a very good switch, to use around the house in different places, to extend my wired network to devices that are far away from my networking closet. They are easy to set up, since they’re not managed, and it seems well built. Speed is as described, so I am happy with that as well. Obviously, as to durability, only time will tell, since I’ve only had it for a few months. But so far, it seems like a very good small switch for the price.

Used this product to power up a RFID reader with POE and it worked properly. Looks very solid and good quality. Can be used at home or commercial projects.

This switch was the best priced switch with 4 POE ports and 1Gb. It so far has been working fine after 24h. It's very small and lightweight and has typical indicator lights for connectivity and traffic above each port. The wall mount holes are relatively small so it didn't fit the screws from the old switch it is replacing, and it didn't include any mounting screws. For the money it's a good switch with a 3-year warranty.UPDATE: It's been a few weeks now and it's still working flawlessly. I have (2) 48v 4K cameras and (1) 48v WiFi Access Point connected to three of the PoE ports.

This was purchased to provide connectivity for a 12v POE camera. All it required was plugging in the power and Ethernet cables. It just works and has worked flawlessly for several months.Recommended.

I purchased the Tenda TEG1105P for a small office network, and so far, it’s been a reliable and efficient choice. The four PoE ports are perfect for powering my IP cameras and a couple of wireless access points without needing separate power supplies, which really helps keep things tidy. The total PoE budget of 58W is more than enough for my needs.Setting it up was a breeze—truly plug and play with no complicated configuration required. The one-key VLAN feature is a useful addition for segmenting network traffic, especially if you want to boost security for connected devices. Another big plus is the 6KV lightning protection, which gives me peace of mind living in central Florida.Overall, for the price and the features offered, this PoE switch is an excellent value and works well for anyone needing a simple and effective solution for their network.

I had been looking for a POE switch to replace my main home switch (8-port non-poe) for couple years without success. The reason is because I have a specific list of requirements (admittedly pretty niche):* Compact - I live in a townhouse with structured cabling that terminates in a fairly small wall box. It keeps everything nice and tidy, but also means there's limited space for extra equipment. POE switches necessarily require larger power supplies which means models with external power bricks are ideal in my scenario. This is apparently rare in POE switches larger than 8 ports*12-16 ports - Ideally I need a switch with exactly 14-ports. This would allow me to activate every Ethernet port in the house. The 10-15 port POE switch market is apparently very limited. The sweet spot seems to be 8 or 16 ports. They majority of 16 port switches listed on Amazon tend to be quite large. 8-ports is a little too few for me. *Goldilocks sigh**At least a 3rd tier brand. Most of the switches I've seen seem to be branded under a hodgepodge of no-name Chinese companies. These companies also seem to be mostly rebadging 2-3 actual designs and just selling them under various brands and different colored stickers. It might be okay...but then again this thing will be sitting inside an enclosed box in my wall for many years with potentially 100W of power flowing through it. I feel better if I can reduce the chances of my house burning down because of a stupid switch. In the end I couldn't find an exact match for my criteria, but this one was close enough (Tenda TEG1109P-8-102W). It's been working flawlessly for about a month now powering my Access Point. I plan to have cameras and other POE devices eventually. Switching performance has been fine as well. I consider Tenda as a tier 3 brand in the US. It's not well known here, but it is a real company based in Taiwan (won't go into Taiwan vs China here) that has been in business for 20+ years and does a lot of business outside the US. I've seen their equipment used by some AV vendors for whatever that's worth.

When I bought this, I didn't have high expectations. I didn't think this "cheap" thing could handle it. Boy, was I wrong! One thing about being an IT professional that is also a contractor for many businesses, I have to take a lot of equipment with me, just in case. I've had so many times where I had one POE injector for the standard I didn't currently need, or I wanted to test a POE access point AND connect with it via CAT6. This little beauty does it all! Obviously, it's not managed, so I can't really see what's going on; however, it is an awesome test switch that I carry with me in my bucket of tools. Would I put this into a mission-critical production scenario? No, but I don't think this was designed for that. It's great for quick testing and troubleshooting out in the field. I have one in my barn that runs two POE cameras, and I have one in my truck for field work. I can't beat the price, especially with having both POE standards.
