I bought this originally for install in wired backhaul town house. It worked like a charm but it only handles 1GB but 3 GB was the service (don't ask). I ended up keeping this for my own house in a WiFi mesh after spending $$ on townhouse upgrade. The 3X dual band with WiFi 6 works better than TP X50/55/60. No wireless backhaul band but don't need it with properly working Wifi 6. Much better range, better throughput, mesh that actually works and a price you can't beat. If you have a 1GB or less service (which is way more than a family could ever use) and a medium size house with or without wiring, go this way and save some big bucks. In service for 5 months with 30 IoT devices. No issues. Cameras for example respond in half the time as TP units.

Bought this for my mom's house. Her internet was very spotty in her house. This completely fixed the issue. Everywhere in the house, front yard and backyard get a great signal now.

So far I'm very impressed with this mesh WiFi system. There are a couple of points to note but for the cost I'm super happy. I had a previous mesh system from another vendor. I won't name them because I used their system for several years and they make good products in general but I was having issues getting any speed (regularly saw only 20 to 50 mb) on it. I also had to replace a unit and it wouldn't connect clients except on the main unit so I needed something to get me back to a real mesh and to get me more speed. I don't have super high speed Internet access but my carrier recently did some upgrades and I'm averaging about 500 mb at the modem. I didn't want to spend a lot and there was a coupon on this set so I took a chance.Easy setup. I used the app and had everything swapped out in a matter of minutes. The mesh button method did not work for me so I used the scanning method and it worked fine. I first set it up in the normal routing mode but later switched to AP mode because I have a custom firewall that I run all my network through and I don't want to double NAT. I've had zero issues with connectivity. Speed is good even on my several year old notebook I'm getting almost 300 mb on WiFi.Notes for why I left off one star: The app is a bit quirky. It sometimes doesn't show the network and you have to refresh just to get it to show up. The system is Chinese so be aware of your likely lack of security. In AP mode behind my firewall I feel pretty confident I can control the security sufficiently but there is always a risk. The system seems to be limited to 3 nodes. I don't know that for sure but from the documentation it doesn't look like I can add more. While the speed is good, it's nowhere near 1500 even on a brand new device supporting the high speed protocols. Lastly the build quality isn't great. They are just plain plastic squares but they don't look terrible so not a big deal.It's not high end/high speed but it's hard to beat for the money.

Excellent unit for the price. I had good coverage all over the house with 3 units, and all the way down to our creek, which is about 250 feet from the house.Later, one unit was destroyed by a voltage surge (no fault of the unit) despite being protected by a surge suppressor. It was our main unit wired into the modem, and so all wireless signal was lost. Just hooked up another at the same site, and had coverage again but with only two units. Bought another 2-unit Tenda system, and now we have four units with even more coverage than before (which we didn't actually need). Installation of the new units was as simple as using the app on my phone and scanning the code on each new unit. The rest of the install was automatic.We have an ATT installed modem/wireless router that our main unit was hooked to. That wireless router has its own Wifi, but we don't use it as the coverage is inferior. Also we have wired ethernet throughout the house, via the outlet on the main Tenda mesh unit, through ethernet switches.Highly recommend.

L'ensemble vaut son prix, ce n'est pas donné, cependant c'est super efficace et mon réseau wifi est bien plus stable sur tenda que sur la box. étonnant. Très pratique quand on vit dans une vieille maison qui ne laisse pas toujours passer le signal.

Fácil de instalar y configurar. Trae un cable Ethernet Cat. 5E corto y dos puertos, uno WAN para conectarlo directamente a tu módem/router si así lo deseas y un LAN.El módem de TotalPlay no me era suficiente para cubrir toda la casa. A un cuarto en el 2do piso no llegaba la banda 5G y la 2.4 llegaba bastante limitada. Un repetidor tampoco daba el ancho pero ahora con el mesh ya no tengo ese problema. Aún y teniendo 2 de los 3 aparatos que hacen el mesh conectados por Wi-Fi la disminución de la velocidad es aceptable y van bastante bien.Lo único malo, porque por más que busque en la app no encontré la opción, es que no puedes ocultar el nombre de la red Wi-Fi.

Got this today. Trying to stream 4 k movies in the basement theater. House is 3 floors , over 3000sq ft. Copper cable coming in for internet wireless. Tried multiple extenders. They were not up to the task. Bought this wireless mesh system. All I can say is AMAZING! Super easy to set up. Modules are inconspicuous and look great! 5 bars reception in all corners of the house including the basement. A bit more speed than the Optimum network router alone. Everything You need came in the Tenda MX3 package.The app was helpful and easy to understand. So, if you are looking for a all the above, this is the Mesh System for you. Buy It!!!

Coverage in house was spotty and slow with old wireless router, upgraded to this product and it really improved the area coverage inside and out. It was quick and easy to setup. I have not had any issues as of yet. Highly recommend for the price.

Nachdem ich dieses Mesh-System installiert habe, bin ich äußerst zufrieden mit seiner Leistung und möchte eine Bewertung von 5 von 5 Sternen vergeben.Die Einrichtung des Tenda Nova MW6 war denkbar einfach. Das System besteht aus mehreren Mesh-Einheiten, die einfach an verschiedenen Stellen in der Wohnung platziert werden. Durch die intelligente Verbindung und Kommunikation zwischen den Geräten wird ein nahtloses WLAN-Netzwerk aufgebaut. Selbst für technisch weniger versierte Benutzer ist die Einrichtung ein Kinderspiel.Was mich besonders beeindruckt hat, ist die beeindruckende WLAN-Abdeckung des Tenda Nova MW6. Trotz meiner Wohnung mit dicken Wänden von 55qm Fläche konnte ich eine durchgehende Verbindung mit 3/3 Balken in der gesamten Wohnung feststellen. Sowohl in den entferntesten Ecken als auch im oberen Stockwerk bleibt die Signalstärke stabil und zuverlässig.Die Geschwindigkeit des WLAN-Netzwerks ist ebenfalls bemerkenswert. Preço meio salgado, peguei dias antes do prime day. Fora isso, super fácil de instalar, basta plugar ele na internet, pelo aplicativo Tenda WiFi você se conecta na rede dele, e já configura o wi-fi. Super rápido e fácil de configurar. O roteador Nova fica conectado ao roteador principal (porta LAN do roteador principal com a porta WAN do NOVA), cobertura? simplesmente fantástica! o roteador fica no quarto, a quase 10 metros de distância, fora as paredes que tem como bloqueio de sinal e mesmo assim o sinal chega full em todos os cômodos da casa, inclusive na cozinha/sala. Valeu o investimento. Vou deixar até de usar o roteador que tinha deixado como repetidor de sinal aqui no cômodo onde trabalho.

Update 02 Feb 2021:After 3 months this unit died. Two of the three units as the main one connected to my cable modem. All I get is a red light and no internet connection. My Mac is both hardwired and wifi connected to the unit as indicated when I go into the Network pref setting. But trying to use an app to connect over the internet fails with a msg indicating no internet connection. Network settings say both wifi and hardwire are connected but there is not Internet signal. Also Tenda has failed to provide a firmware update to increase security to WPA2 (aes), anything less is not secure. I was hoping they would release a firmware update for the security but not yet, meanwhile I have a dead system. Will update again if I can ever reach tech support.It works great, strong signal and no lost of speed around the nodes. Earlier I tried two brands of WiFi extenders with my old Apple AirPort Extreme, never could get those to work so decide to try this Nova mesh network setup from Tenda, success! Master node is in 2nd story office, another node is just inside a window that opens into an enclosed patio with a metal/wood insulated roof, third node is in the attached garage. All work great with a strong signal and same download/upload speeds. Used to be a highly degraded signal at both remote node locations. Put one node in the garage to allow solid WiFi signal for an external solar panel box that is WiFi enabled to allow monitoring the solar array on my iPhone and IPad. Signal is slightly degrade due to stucco wall but more than sufficient signal at the panel compared to before. Very easy to install, just follow the written directions and the app.
