I tested these strips out using my kitchen thermometer and my mouth thermometer in 100°f water. Both thermometers agreed that the green dot was 1° f off and the tan color is the actual temp. As the liquid cooled it maintained this status until it dropped all the way to 90°f still reading the tan color as the accurate temp. The dot colors are a little hard to see but if you shine your phone flash light on the strip the dots will illuminate for a way better read. Stay strong hope this helps everyone.

The photos are misleading. The color indicators are so faint it's really difficult to get a read. Not only that but I tested the strips by sticking six of them around a bottle in about the same spot. Some read different temps from others stuck to the same bottle and some did not read at all. I used a digital thermometer to confirm temp at 95 so they all should have read something since the range is 90-100. They are not accurate and I would recommend trying a different brand.

Hard to read this is giving me anxiety. Use multiple if it’s over the 100 mark it’s not going to read and you need to wait for it to cool off. Use multiple so you don’t mess it up and I think it will be ok…. I think.

Can't say enough about these test strips... they were perfect and worked well... no issues time and time again... I would use once and discard just to be safe but if emergency situation arises it can be used a 2nd time right after initial use but test for yourself to he sure. Just dont leave it for a few days and try to use again. There are a few of them so no worries if you mess up, just use another.

I used these strips to see if it’ll read a fresh urine sample for a drug test i had coming up for my new job soon, and it Worked like magic. I used my spouses urine sample, the temp strips read their temp instantly and then i kept it warm for about 30 mins while heading to and waiting at the lab by using hand warmers and i was able to check the temp discreetly in my secret hiding it close to my body and wearing baggy clothing . It stayed body temp the whole time and the strips made it easier to read and as soon as i had to give a sample , the lab had their own cup and the same temp strips !!! So i poured the urine and the temp strip still remained body temp and the lab tech recorded the temp right away. These strips ( and hand warmers) saved me time and money .

I am using the temperature strips on heated cattle semen and embryology microscope stages. I also use them on dish and slide warming tables set to incubator temperature, next to the microscope.In an effort to validate the strips I compared them to a couple of dial thermometers that were calibrated in ice water.I am satisfied that the temperature on the strips is consistent with the thermometers +/- They are very convenient. Apply the strips. Turn on the equipment. Wait for desired temperature to be achieved. Adjust the temp. control knob if necessary, and go to work. I have used the strips twice so far with a heated microscope stage and live cattle embryos. No problems!Five stars so far.
