I was looking for a big board that would fit 2000 pieces jigsaw puzzle. I ordered the rolling one first but it was not good at all. This one has completely met my expectations. Really good!

Thick board that lays flat, covered with heavy felt. It folds in half for storage, but will lay flat when opened. Excellent quality.

Mych better than one of the heavy wooden boards. I put this on topic 2 tv trays and it works great. Fits behind by couch wheni am not using it.

This has been great for the purpose of working on a puzzle. No complaints as it's easy to move a puzzle around as needed. If there is any caveat is that the material makes it capture things like hair pretty easily so make sure your work area is clear of long hair or pet fur, and you should be good to go. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

It's huge. It's sturdy. But oh man, is it a magnet for pet fur. It's not easy to get through a standard doorway when completely unfolded. But it works great.

When folded at 22.8" x 15.7", this board is perfect for Buffalo Games 500-piece puzzles at 21.25" x 15", however too small for other brands like Vermont Christmas Club 500-piece puzzles that measure 24" x 18".When opened up, the board is not as sturdy -- unless, of course, it is placed on a solid surface like a table. I use my lap to do puzzles, so this is an issue for me because I need to place something underneath to keep the board from wanting to fold. I actually bought a bigger board in a different brand to make it possible for me to do larger 500, 550, 750 and 1000-piece puzzles, but I still prefer this board for smaller 500-piece puzzles. I think I have purchased all of Buffalo Games' (more affordable) 500-piece puzzles available for this reason.

I have used the half size for a smaller puzzle and now using full size for much larger puzzle. It is easy to move puzzle around as I am working on it. I use mine on kitchen island so I can stand rather than sit. Sit enough other times of the day.

As an avid puzzler, I already had a felt-covered wooden puzzle board that was suitable for most 1000-piece or smaller puzzles. However, as I started branching out to 1500 and 2000 piece puzzles, that board was too small. This folding felt mat provided an affordable solution for larger puzzles. I love that it folds in half, so that when I'm not using it, it doesn't take up as much space. While it's not a solid wooden board, it is still substantial and rigid enough that it can be moved around easily. The felt holds assembled pieces in place nicely, and the neutral gray background provides a non-distracting backdrop. Had I to do it over again, I would have purchased this board from the outset, as it is versatile enough for most any sized puzzle I wish to do.
