I bought the 20ft model. I’ve been struggling with a 17ft Little Giant ladder for over 10 years. I needed a couple more feet to reach my smoke detector in the great room and thought I would give this a try. The new ladder weighs about 35lbs which is about half, plus it is much easier to carry. It deploys very easily without having to push, bend and extend on the ground. I just did 3 jobs in 1/10th the time without straining my arms or shoulders. This 20ft model has thick legs and me being 5’8” and 150lbs had no trouble holding me. The only negative is the steps are spaced further apart than normal ladders and you need to keep that in mind when you come down, Highly recommend!

There is too much distance between the steps for it to be usable, and once extended, it does not feel very sturdy. I was hoping this would give me the confidence to get up on the roof if I needed to, but the experience has been quite the opposite. Unfortunately, I waited too long to try it after purchasing so the return window has closed.

Inexpensive but decent. It collapses to make storing easy. I used it to get high enough to clean the gutters. I will say it doesn’t feel very sturdy and I weigh 135. Fine for my weight but I doubt I would put someone 200+ too high up

I acquired the Telescoping Ladder, and it has been a mixed experience. Here's my review, highlighting its lightweight design, ease of portability, affordability, quick shipping, and considerations about its sturdiness.Light and Easy to Carry:One of the standout features of this telescoping ladder is its lightweight construction. It's incredibly easy to carry around, making it a convenient choice for various tasks. Whether I'm working in the attic or doing outdoor repairs, the portability of this ladder has proven to be a time-saver.Affordability and Value:The affordability of this ladder is a major selling point. It provides good value for the price, making it an attractive option for those on a budget. Despite its lower cost, it still serves its purpose for tasks that don't require an extremely sturdy ladder.Quick Shipping:I was pleasantly surprised by the quick shipping of the product. It arrived promptly, allowing me to start using it for my projects without delay. The efficient shipping process added to the overall positive experience. Not Very Sturdy:However, it's essential to note that the ladder's sturdiness might not be suitable for heavy-duty tasks or prolonged use. While it serves well for basic household chores, I would exercise caution for tasks that demand a more robust and stable ladder. In conclusion, the 16 FT Telescoping Aluminum Ladder is a decent choice for those seeking a lightweight and affordable option for occasional use. Its portability and quick shipping make it a practical solution for various tasks around the home. However, if sturdiness is a top priority for your specific needs, it might be worth considering a more heavy-duty alternative.

I had put off getting a ladder for the longest time, as an unnecessary purchase. I purchased this to put up security cameras and lights after recent break ins. I was looking for something easily portable by a small woman (under 5ft,) this is what I settled on.It was very easy to use. The only issue I had was it is a bit shaky, but to get the collapsing feature, you lose some on stability. It was not enough to put me off from it. It is very easy to store and carry around. It fits in my spare closet with no issues. I typically don't have any need for a ladder, but this one will be waiting for the next time I need one.

This ladder has properties that make it potentially more dangerous than a regular aluminum ladder, if the user doesn't take extra precautions. The ladder is more prone to twisting than a regular one. Also, the top rung is smooth and there are no projecting side rails. I tried it on a tree and it twisted and tried to slide off the tree trunk. Fortunately, I was being very cautious, so no disaster occurred.Definitely, deploy the top hooks that come with the ladder. They will help (but not guarantee) the stability on a tree trunk. The hooks have their own problem in this regard. They are held in place by a nut and flat washer, so they can turn when you don't want them to. I'm thinking of swapping out the flat washer for a toothy washer but haven't tried it yet. The manufacturer may want to offer some feedback on this idea. I think the hooks are intended to hang onto something substantial, like a roof parapet or even a gutter. Aside from the fact that they can swivel when you don't want them to, they seem very strong.I think it would be a good idea to tie the ladder off to the trunk, if you are using it to climb a tree.On the good side, it telescopes into a small package, doesn't take up a lot of space, and is easy to carry around (even for an old coot like me). It worked very well for me in a "normal" roof access job, where it had no opportunity to twist.Do pay attention to the safety warnings included with the ladder. Be sure not to have any fingers you want to use again in between the rungs when you are collapsing it. It seems to like slamming back down when you hit the release buttons. At first, this worried me because I tend to take good care of my tools; but this ladder seems to be designed for this kind of closing.
