Disappointed ☹️ I purchased this product to preserve some flowers from my bridal bouquet and it didn’t come out as expected. To be fair, this was my first time completing such a project, so it could have likely been user error. I followed the instructions exactly, but it still created bubbles and did not dry well.It’s been over a month since completing and the back is still very tacky. It also has a yellowish hue. I’m not experienced enough to know whether it’s good quality, but it was not user friendly for a first time user. The sections that did dry completely are durable but I personally found it difficult to reach the desired result. It’s also very difficult to clean!If this is your first time completing a project like this, I would recommend trying to do it with a small item first to get a bit of hands on experience before using your desired item. My bridal flowers are officially ruined and it’s a bit upsetting.

Firstly, for the price, you just about can't beat this resin. No odor. No bubbles if stirred correctly and slowly. No curing issues. I mean this is quickly becoming my favorite resins to work with. I used their quick dry as well. Dries crystal clear and I was able to demold in about 10-12 hours on some of my items. I would still recommend giving it 18 to 24 hours before demolding. Beautiful items have been made with this resin. Mixture is 1 to 1. I believe I have purchased each and every size and they are all a bargain for the quality. I believe I will use only Teexpert from here on out.

This resin kit arrived safely packed in a compact box. Inside the box, you will receive :-1 x 17 fl oz (500 ml) Resin1 x 17 fl oz (500 ml) Hardener4 x stirring sticks2 x graduated cups2 pairs of gloves2 teat pipettes1 set of instructionsSadly the company I used to purchase my resin supplies from has recently gone into administration, and I was on the lookout for a new supplier. Therefore I was delighted when I got the opportunity to try this product via the Vine programme.The kit contains everything you need to get you started (apart from moulds and inclusions). The instruction leaflet is illustrated throughout with coloured thumbnail pics. Everything from setting up, preparing your mixture plus hints and tips is explained in detail, so I feel this kit would be suitable for a complete beginner.As I mentioned this is the first time I have had resin from this Company, but the results so far have been great. It is low odour, and dries crystal clear with no yellowing. It is fully cured in 24 hours.A couple of tips for anyone beginning is to gently warm the bottles prior to using (I place them in warm water with the lids firmly on). Another tip is to use a gentle figure of 8 motion to stir the mixture. Finally, it is helpful to use a heat gun over the top of your mould, as this will bring any bubbles to the surface.I am very happy to recommend this resin, and will buy more from this company once I have used up this supply.I hope you found my review helpful.

I got this product to test and make some resin art and jewelry, and I was very impressed with the quality and ease of use. The epoxy resin crystal clear kit comes with 17oz of resin and 17oz of hardener, which are easy to mix in a 1:1 ratio. The resin is very clear and has a low viscosity, which makes it easy to pour and spread. The hardener is fast curing and has 3X yellowing resistance, which means it preserves the color and transparency of the resin for a long time. The kit also includes some measuring cups and stir sticks, which are handy for mixing.It comes with a well-written booklet that gives a lot of tips to beginners: for example how to eliminate the little air bubbles that are formed when mixing the 2 components; It is recommended to warm up the content for a few minutes as it will accelerate the elimination of bubbles and the mixture becomes crystal transparent; and much more advice that I appreciated! It also has a Great Work Time of 40 minutes that allows any beginner to maneuver and adjust before the "rest" time for resign hardening.The epoxy resin crystal clear kit works well for casting, coating, art, DIY craft, jewelry, and wood table tumbler projects. It gives a super glossy finish that is scratch-resistant and water-resistant. It also bonds well with various materials such as wood, metal, stone, plastic etc. I was able to create some beautiful pieces with this product that look professional and durable.Another advantage I found with this product is that it does not smell when mixing and curing. Another epoxy resigns I used, needed working in a well-ventilated area or wearing a mask. But I do recommend wearing gloves when handling the resin and hardener as they can irritate your skin.Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to try epoxy resin crystal clear projects. It is easy to use, high quality, and affordable - this quantity will last a long time if you use it for small projects!

If you're looking for a way to jump into the world of resin then this is a great set to start with.QUALITY:As mentioned this is a great starter set for anyone looking to get into resin making. The set comes with 2 bottles, 1 of resin and another of hardener. It also has the basics for getting started like measuring cups and pipettes.The resin itself from my testing cures fairly quickly and clear. I had no issues with clarity or yellowing though I did find this resin a bit thicker than others. This lead to more bubbles in the end product, so be cautious of that when using it. Slow mixing and a vacuum or pressure pot make a big difference.PERFORMANCE:Working with the resin was easy as it's a 1:1 ratio for mixing so there isn't a lot of math involved. I tested the resin with some colouring and mica powder and it mixed in well. I usually stir for a minimum of 2 min depending on the resin to make sure everything is well mixed. I found this resin to be a bit on the thick side so when stirring I had to be cautious of introducing bubbles.They state on the packaging that there is a working time of 40min which seems roughly accurate but it did start thickening around the 10 min mark.I poured a fairly deep mould and it took longer to harden as expected and performed well with nice clarity and with no yellowing so far. I gave it overnight to cure fully before removing the hardened piece and it came out easily and looked great.CONCLUSION:A great set that works well and is easy to use. It's a bit thicker than some others I've used, but this can be beneficial in certain instances. Everything is included to do your first pour and is easy to use.WHAT I LIKED:• Easy to work with (1:1 ratio)• Decent working time• Dries clear• didn't yellowWHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:• Was a bit thicker than others. this could be a benefit or a hinderence depending on what you are doing
