I'm impressed with the nice hinges, glass cover, and solid feel. It works great for necktie storage. No more dusty ties!

I bought 1 of these over a decade ago ( when Amazon was in its infancy). It finally “ broke “- the glass separated from the box. Plus- my tie collection has grown considerably.Well a little super glue fixed the glass. Unfortunately, but not surprising, it is not the same finish as my previous one. No big deal.There is a lot of room for ties- I even store my matching pocket squares with the tie they go to. Just roll up your tie and put it in the box. Rolling up takes a little practice to not make the roll too tight. It even protects the ties from dust and other contaminants.Buy, buy, buy.

I ordered two a couple years ago and loved them. Ordered to more and they are different. Inside dividers on first order were nice wooden deviders. Second order were there velvet like dividers. Both versions fine but the original were nicer.

The tie box looks pretty nice, however, the first time I opened it the top was so heavy it pulled out all the mounting screws. Return was processed quickly.

The quality of the wood is very nice but the frame holding the glass appeared to be attached to the top of the box with cheap wood glue. Consequently whenever I open the box, the frame and glass always fall off. Definitely not worth the price

It's not often I write a review but I felt I needed to because there was one previous review on this tie box and it was so low that it kept me from taking a chance and ordering this tie box and I'm SO GLAD I DID!!This is a great tie box and I couldn't be happier with it. It's solid wood inside and out, metal hinges and a solid, sturdy glass lid held securely in place by the wood frame lid. I was half expecting the inside dividers to be those plastic/cardboard adjustable dividers that never stay together and fall apart as soon as you look at it and to my surprise the divider is also solid wood and one whole piece that's glued to the bottom of the box so it's not going to fall apart at all ever! What I love most about this is this is a 100% tie box, not like the combo tie/watch boxes that are prevalent. I wanted all compartments for ties and not have to sacrifice a space for a couple of watches so this was perfect for me. I have 12 ties and this holds 12 ties, exactly what I wanted.This is a tie box you can be proud of and put on display. There's tons of cheap plastic organizers on the market but I wanted something sturdier and nicer. I found this and the identical tie box in a cherry finish. The cherry finish had great reviews and this had one bad one so I was skeptical on this on but I was not crazy about the cherry finish.So I looked at the one previous review and the two comments were the glass lid was broken upon arrival and this was a cheap product. This is absolutely NOT a cheap quality product. It's all solid wood, thick frame, solid dividers and a heavy lid. The tie box has definite weight to it, it's the first thing you notice when you unbox it. There is nothing cheap about this product.As far as the broken glass lid. You can't fault a product because an item got damaged in transit. My tie box arrived encased top, bottom and sides in styrofoam, packaged inside the manufacturer's box so it was snug and not going to move anywhere. Then that box was wrapped in paper and packaged inside an Amazon shipping box. You would have to drop it and throw a 200lb gorilla on top of the box to jump up and down in order for there to be enough pressure to get through the packaging and break the glass. Can it happen? Yes...of course. I have had packages delivered by UPS and have wondered if they were keeping a 200lb gorilla in their truck to be able to do the damage that was done to my package. It happens...but it's not the fault of the product.So to anyone that's debating this like I was I say ignore the one bad review and order this tie box. You will love it as much as I do!

I bought two of these boxes to hold a collection of very nice ties and pocket hankerchiefs. It is a beautifully finished and well constructed addition to my custom closet. The hinges action is solid and great quality. Great value!
