I use this, with a metal Night Ize Cam Jam, to hang my hammock. I no longer use hammock straps. The 1000 para cord is plenty strong enough. Couple it with the cam jam and it gives you the versatility and adjustability of a whoopee sling. Just as strong, much lighter, and takes up very little space in your pack

I purchased this to use for camping to avoid the inevitable tripping over tent ropes. This cord glows brightly enough that at night it is visible to help with walking around the staked items and NOT tripping over the ropes. During the day, the sun charges the rope and the color is very visible to help avoid the same situation during the day. Versus the black, green or brown standard ropes that usually blend into the surroundings that trying to snag everyone, this cord is very visible. I will buy thos over and over...saves the crashing to the ground and potential injuries for those that are..well sometimes balance challenged.

We have a 6 month old kitten who is mostly blind and has wobbly cat syndrome (feral cat colony), so can't run around the farm loose like the other two cats. We bought a previous tie out but it was too heavy for him. This has turned out perfect and he's thoroughly enjoying being outside. He yells when he gets stuck or caught around a tree, and the dog is out there protecting him until we get there. For a kitten who refused to use the outside catio tents we bought, this is perfect. He can't be out unattended, but that's ok with all of us.

This is great glow in the dark chord. I can use it to tie knots with. I can use it for tying paracord key rings and lanyards. Easy to use for making various projects. It melts good to bond with other cord. I don't mind paying a little more for this to get the quality that I need. This is the second time I've bought this cord and I'll buy it again when I need it.
