I've repaired countless items with this tape. It is the best. It's lightweight, absolutely clear, bonds like crazy, and is super tough. There are imposters, and I can't comment on those. This stuff is great!

Works great. Fixed our 12 in tear and works great. Had 17 people using our water carpet and the tape was perfect. Thank you, Debbie

This product saved me from certain disaster and family shame! I was leant our small family marquee to use at a little local festival. When we put it up, it was with a group of slightly disinterested helpers, and it was raining and a bit windy. Not everyone held on well enough which meant the wind took one side of the marquee not yet attached to anything, and whipped it in the air. While we were flailing around trying to grab it, a big tear was ripped through the marquee fabric. My sister's wedding was in a few weeks and she needed the marquee. I was so worried and panicked that I had been entrusted with it and had managed to do something so silly. After a lot of googling it emerged that this was the right product to save me from family shame! While it might seem expensive, it was a lot less than paying for repair, and I can really count on it doing it's job. It was easy to use, the instructions were clear, and the marquee went up at the wedding with no issues. It is clear which means it is very hard to tell there was a repair at all. There were no leaks or other issues. The day was saved!

I LIVE IN A SMALL ROOM AND USE A 20" HIGH AIR MATTRESS (DAY/NITE BED) 20+ HOURS A DAY. I HAVE REPLACED MY AIR MATTRESS SEVERAL TIMES DUE TO PIN HOLES THAT NO OTHER FIXES WORKED TO REMEDY. THIS TAPE REALLY WORKS AND HAS ALLOWED ME TO DELAY REPLACEMENT OF "NOT FOR DAILY USE" AIR BEDS. IT WORKS TO SOLVE THE ISSUE ONCE THE LEAK IS FOUND.

I have now bought my weight in these rolls and my only qualm is I wish they’d come in a longer roll. It’s expensive, but worth it. My best recommendation is to only peel a little at a time as you place it, because this stuff is hella sticky and will not let go of the fabric once it’s on. I used it to repair a comforter and it extended its life at least another year+. Technically it’s still working, although the edges were starting to curl a little and get dirty. But that was a daily use sort of thing. I’ve been using the stuff to repair the inside of a fur coat I rescued, too, and it’s brilliant. Although I recommend taping down the first with painters tape to keep it out of the way. Again, it adheres to everything. It’s super strong and flexible. I honestly think it’s as indestructible as the Nokia brick phone 😂 Definitely buy.

I have a nylon tarp that ripped during a wind gust, and decided to try this product before buying a replacement. I cut some strips lengthwise and applied a strip on both sides, top and bottom, over the damaged area. I've had the tarp up a few days camping since doing the repair, and it seems to be holding up very well so far. My only beef with this product is that it's only a short length on the roll, so fairly pricey. That said, it seems to do the job and beats buying new gear.

Unfortunately an adult decided to through themselves on to this LittleTykes bouncy slide house. It tore a 15 inch gaping hole at the spot that probably receives the most use, the step up to the ladder. It took the entire roll of tape and seems to work fine. It has already taken some abuse this summer and a couple washes as well and sticking firm. I will update this next season when we open it up again to see how well it has lasted through the winter storage.

I bought this after reading several other reviews about it working for bounce house water slide repairs. The area that was being repaired was on a seam. We sewed the seam back together and then put this on top of it to keep the stitching in place. After the kids hit the patch twice it was already lifting. I rounded the corners as recommended but that didn't matter. I don't know if the other type B patch would have worked better? The slide is not made of vinyl though. I would say that even when you put it on dry it was questionable as to whether or not it was going to stick, so I wouldn't use it on a dry bounce house either? It was fairly expensive for the amount that came on the roll as well. I ended up ordering another box in hopes of reinforcing the patch, but after 5 or 10 more times down the slide realized it was hopeless. I tried cancelling the second order less than an hour after making it and was unable to do so through Amazon. It's very sticky stuff and if you barely touch it it will leave fingerprints or even fingernail prints on the patch. I ended up using Flex Seal instead. Other than the above it is what was advertised.

I used the Type A repair tape to repair a bi-cast leather sofa that had a couple of tears in the seat cushion. So far it has been over two weeks and this tape has performed well with kids who sometimes step or jump on the seat cushion.Previously I had tried leather/vinyl repair kits with the liquid vinyl that you set with heat--those were terrible and never lasted more than a few days, plus they were very annoying to apply. This repair tape is awesome, and simple to apply. The adhesive is very strong, so I am not worried about the tape coming up at the corners or sides. If you visit the manufacturer's website, you will learn that the Type B repair tape is for vinyl only (because vinyl specifically contains oils that require a different adhesive), and the Type A repair tape is for everything else from fabrics to leathers, plastics, polyurethane, etc. Bi-cast leather has a polyurethane coating, so you want the Type A repair tape. The tape itself is clear with a matte finish, so depending on the surface, it is relatively "invisible". The adhesive is so strong that it can be difficult to separate the tape from the wax paper backing without marring the tape. After applying a couple of patches you develop a technique for applying the tape smoothly and neatly.I only regret that I did not buy this tape sooner and save myself the hassle from all of my previous failed repair attempts.
