I wanted a kettle for my backpacking stove, and picked this up. Its nice. Seems like itll get the job done, and is very light. Not sure how durable it will be....but time will tell.

This review is for the Tea Kettle Stovetop, 2.2L Stovetop Kettle, Kettle Teapot, Camping Kettles for Boiling Water, Whistling Tea Kettle for Stove Top, Coffee Kettle Stovetop, Water Kettle Stovetop, Camp Kettle.Well I'm very pleasantly suprised by the quality of this little camping kettle set! In fact I would go so far as to say I'm impressed with it! LOL. I'm going to be honest, for the price of this set I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought well, at the very least, it'll be useful for us if the power goes out here at home and I'm forced in the middle of winter to heat water outside on the propane grill for tea/coffee, ramen noodles...! LOL.So this mighty little kettle is very well made, it's light weight but sturdy although I would be a bit careful with the handle and not go bashing it around. The entire kit comes nicely boxed and inside you'll find it all contained in a good drawstring mesh bag with a lck ball on it. Remove the kettle and then the lid, it just sits on it, it doesn't lock on so hold it when pouring. There's a plastic cover over the spout, toss it. (the cover that is LOL) Inside the kettle you'll find the 4 sturdy well made cups, 4 neoprene nice sleeves to install on the outside of the cups, a mesh tea/coffee ball, and a cleaning sponge that's scrubby on 1 side/sponge on the other and there's a good carabiner to use to hang the kit in the mesh bag from a backpack....This little kettle is great for use on a camp stove, over a little burner stand, over a campfire on a rack or hung... I would be careful over a campfire as it has a plastic part on the handle to not get hot, not sure if it will melt if put in the flames? And a small plastic handle on the lid too. I'll still use a potholder or silicone glove as I don't trust those things LOL.The best way to get the neoprene sleeves on is to turn them inside out folding them in half. The smooth side is going to be towards the cup and folded over halfway on the outside with the fold toward the top of the cup. Work it up onto the cup, when you think it's far enough push the fold up so it's now single layer on the cup, then you can adjust from there. The nice grooves on the outside provide grip and the whole thing insulates your hand against hot liquids. Very nice touch with these! The cups are small size, about 4 ounces. So you may want to invest in a bigger set of cups. The pot itself is about 1/2 gallon. Someone else mentioned theirs whistled? Mine didn't and it doesn't say anything in the listing aboout it being a whistling tea pot.Amy way you use this it's going to get the black gunky stuff on the outside of the kettle, so yu may want another bag/cloth to wrap it in before putting it back in the mesh bag. Just because that black gunk will get on other stuff and could stain it, it'll just make a mess... just an fyi.Overall I'm very happy with this little set and it's especially nice when you consider the low pricepoint! This is the perfect set for your young scouts too!Regular price $ 19.99 per the listing and there's a 15% off coupon! Hello! At that price buy 2 or 3! If you need something fancier than this go for it, but at this pricepoint I won't cry over it getting lost/dented/ broken! LOL!As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

This is a nice kettle for camping. We have an old one but it's aluminum which could cause some health issues. This one is stainless steel which is nice. It's 2.2 liters which is a little over 4 big 16 oz mugs of hot water. It comes with 4 little stainless cups with silicon heat "pads". Personally I prefer my thick plastic mug as it doesn't dissipate heat as fast but these are nice cups. The include tea ball is a nice touch that we probably will use. My little isobutane stove and a small canister just fit inside if the cups are taken out.Weights for those who may take this backpacking, the full weight with everything is 600 grams. Kettle + lid + mesh bag is 314g. Kettle + lid, no bag = 288g.The lid fits loose which is fine while boiling water but I worry about losing items from inside. It does have a mesh bag to hold it together but I hate to rely on it. I'd like to have the lid latch into place.Otherwise this will work well for me.

This tea kettle and cup set is really great for camping or hiking. The kettle is light weight and easy to carry with the mesh bag provided with the carabiner. On one side of the kettle it has the logo printed onto it. I thought the plastic handle is a little thin. But everything ideally, seems pretty quality made. The carabiner is threaded to screw shut tightly and securely. The mesh bag has a pincher to close up the bag. It is tied off at the end to keep it from unraveling. There are four small, stainless steel cups that come in the set. They all made well with smooth edges and polished surfaces. Each one accompanies the silicone sleeves, to which, I put onto these cups myself. I thought they are a nice touch to keep your hands from getting too hot. This kettle set also includes a stainless steel tea ball, for tea or coffee grounds, and it has a scratch pad for cleaning.I’m am more than pleased with this set.

I like how this kettle comes with a mesh carry bag and screw lock caribeaner to securely hang it from you hiking pack as well as the 4 small teacups with silicone heat sleeves a tea infuser for loose leaf tea or coffee, and scrubbing sponge. The silicone sleeves are a little tough to first install on the cups and they don't all fully conform to the cups but they will protect your hands from heat inside the cups and won't slip off easily during use. The kettle is a good size for boiling liquids when at camp and will pair nicely with camp stoves and the folding fire pit grates that we use when care camping at developed campsites. The tea infuser is a standard size which typically is used for brewing a single 12-16oz cup of loose leaf tea and they do work well for coffee BUT it's a bit small for use with this kettle for a full "pot" of coffee so you may wanna grab another set of 2 because you'll want 3 for a good pot of coffee or tea or plan to use larger mugs than come with this set along with single tea bags or coffee bags like foldgers sells. The cups that come with this are about 4oz, they're the size of an espresso cup, so they're good for a quick warmup cup but I suggest you get a set of larger camp mugs to carry along with this set.All in all I would recommend this set especially for the price, the kettle is well made and has a good handle that is insulated, although with plastic so keep the flames under it and not going around the sides and it won't melt.
