MudWorks Pottery is designed and created in the small town of Effort, Pennsylvania. Every step is completed by hand, including throwing the clay on the wheel, carving, and painting. MudWorks' delightful pottery is lead-free, food-safe, and suitable for the oven (with preheating), microwave, and dishwasher. Some motifs are available in various configurations, such as plates, garlic keepers, honey pots, and sponge holders.
Please remember that artisan goods are individually handcrafted, so you should expect some variations and minor imperfections. These differences give personality to each piece and confirm the human touch.

I got these as a surprise gift for my wife as I was constantly finding her used teaspoons and teabags lying around our kitchen. I was gonna buy some generic coasters just to get the job done, but when I saw these I just had to get them and really glad I did. First, my wife loved them for their unique, attractive looks and artisan quality. She ended up using two in the kitchen and the third in our bedroom for small jewelry. I have to say it’s much nicer seeing these on a daily basis than some generic coasters. The coasters themselves are really nice in person and look and feel handmade. Not only do they work well and look good doing it, they make a great gift as they really are quite nice and special, and they’re not something someone will expect to get nor buy for themselves. Sure they’re a little pricier than the mass market stuff, but they’re still not very expensive especially for something that’s different and really of artisan quality. I’m very glad I splurged a little on these.

I just bought a second set of these to have a backup for the first set I bought lol. The only reason I gave it a four on durability is because it's a pottery item and will break if dropped, but it is pretty strong. It's a good size for 2-3 used tea bags or any tea ball, but still small enough to look nice with any tea set. If you have a tea lover in your life, these would make a perfect gift!

These are really cute, well made, and add charm to the kitchen. I just wish I'd seen the little note that colors may vary. I got a gift set for someone and the heart is a rust color, not the mauve that the other set had.

These arrived today, and they are exactly what I wanted to hold my wedding ring while showering, doing dishes, etc. I put one by the kitchen sink and one in each bathroom. They are lovely, I am so glad I took a chance and ordered them.
