These need to be current manufacture first hour or two bad quality. It is what it is. I'd say that it's possibly 10 years old. New old stock

I use these blank VHS tapes for my Panasonic duel VHS/DVD recording machines. These machines haven't been manufactured for years it seems and they command high prices on Amazon. I use the VHS tapes as head cleaners for the VHS component of those Panasonic recorders. I might have been forced to throw these recorders out if I weren't able to obtain a head cleaner that isn't abrasive or corrosive to the heads.

Haven't used one yet but very impressed with fast shipping. Can't put an accurate star by 1st question because that's not the package I bought.I now have tried all 4 tapes on 2 different VCRs NOT ONE TAPE WORKS !!! I'M SOOOO DISAPPOINTED!! NOW WHAT ??

Although most people like to record their movies or shows via other means for this generation's fans, I still occasionally use my VCR to record shows when I am gone for the day. Still as high quality as ever, even on an HDTV. :)

one of tapes stopped working mid recording and entire tape was no longer formatted and useable. rest so far ok

These are the best tapes I have had. My friend records and gives me the tapes. I had tried Maxell from Radio Shack, Sony from Best Buy - they were the only places that still had VHS tapes for sale. But the recording quality when I tried playing back the other brand tapes that my friend recorded on her recorder and gave to me to play back on my recorder, was terrible, all kinds of static and blips. But the TDK tapes work excellently. My friend has a different brand recorder than I do and I think that had something to do with the playback quality.
