When I order these expensive bulbs I missed that they were Soft White ?I did not realize that they had different color tonesThis color tone looks dull in the bathroom fan and seems to be under powered ?

Bought this bulb as I needed to replace a burnt out one. I originally bought the brand-named version + extra for shipping as the light was needed in the basement. The bulb arrived broken. I then purchased the TCP light hoping that it was the right fit. It fit perfectly and was a fraction of the price. It was very well wrapped when it was delivered and arrived a week earlier than expected. 'm going to buy a few extras now to have them on hand.

The lamp is used in the attic of our home. This model lamp is outdated and has been replaced with more efficient and brighter LED lamps. Since this model is older, it is hard to find in stores, so I am grateful to have found it on line. The price is very reasonable and getting it through Amazon makes shopping a breeze.

Very Expensive bulb at almost $30!!I can't buy these in stores locally. I needed it to replace a bulb in my ceiling fan. Very disappointed that it only lasted 9 months when the description says 9+ yrs. My previous bulbs lasted many years. I wish I knew where they were purchased! This one is very poor quality, the bulb started to make the whole room smell like burnt plastic. For a couple of days we couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from until it started flickering and became Extremely hot to the touch.I had the fixture checked, it's not the fixture that is the problem. These bulbs are a waste of money.Considering changing my existing fixture to avoid having to waste money on these again.

Update: I have had these installed for over two years in my garage and they are fine. The last set lasted 5 years. The lights I am using them in are motion activated so are not on all the time.Exact fit for Leviton outdoor motion light. These light fixtures are great in the garage and the lamps last for year, but they eventually burn out and are hard to find elements. These TCP lamps are original equipment. They fit and work great. They light up fast even in cold environments.

I can't believe how impossible it was to find a GU24 bulb anywhere besides Amazon, and I live in the 4th largest city in the US! That being said, this bulb is a great deal. The new base seems much sturdier than traditional light bulbs, and the quality of the light was every bit as good. Some people seem to have a problem with the quality of some of the manufacturers, and I'm not sure if that changes from order to order, but mine held up well against the medium pressure I had to use to install it.Pros: - Sturdy and safer base designCons: - Difficult to find anywhere besides Amazon - A little more expensive than traditional bulbs due to scarcity

I bought this to replace a burned out bulb in a ceiling fan. The original bulb (which was a different brand) lasted about a year before it burned out, and I thought that was pretty bad for a CFL. This new TCP bulb burned out in less than 2 months which is ridiculous. I won't make that mistake again.Instead, I purchased a pack of GU24 adapters (http://www.amazon.com/5-Pack-GU24-to-E26-Adapters/dp/B008PES6VS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403099109&sr=8-1&keywords=gu24+adapter) and some LED bulbs (http://www.amazon.com/Philips-424382-11-watt-Household-Dimmable/dp/B00B4CPL5W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403099099&sr=8-1&keywords=philips+a19+led) and these are working great. Brighter than the CFLs, full brightness immediately unlike the CFLs, a little less energy usage than the CFLs, and hopefully will last a long time unlike the CFLs.
