I put a sim card from another phone in it and it worked on AT&T. Do not know what AT&T's problem is that they would not activate the phone.

The listing pictures shown aren't consistent with the actual phone you get. You DO get a TCL Flip 2, but those photos are for a similar (and in my opinion inferior) Alcatel SmartFlip or something other.That aside, I love this thing. Build quality, UI, and camera are not great but I don't think anyone's looking for that here- everything gets the job done and it's the perfect cross between smart and dumb phone. If you're tech-savvy there's even modding possibilities since it runs Android.

The TCL Go Flip 2 is a solid choice for anyone looking to embrace simplicity with a touch of modern functionality. The flip phone design is wonderfully nostalgic but updated with 4G LTE capabilities, making it practical for calls, texts, and even some light web browsing. The 8GB of internal storage is enough for basic use, though it can fill up quickly if you're snapping a lot of photos or downloading apps. Thankfully, it supports a microSD card for extra storage.The battery life is impressive, easily lasting a day or more with moderate use, which is a breath of fresh air compared to most smartphones. The keypad is tactile and responsive, making it great for those who prefer physical buttons. However, the screen size and resolution are modest, so don’t expect a stellar viewing experience for media.Call quality is clear, and the phone’s compact, lightweight design makes it easy to slip into a pocket or bag. That said, the camera is pretty basic, suitable only for quick snapshots in good lighting. It’s also worth noting that while it’s "smart" in a basic sense, it’s not going to replace your smartphone for heavy app use or multitasking.

Working features:1. Rogers SIM works fine.2. Bluetooth works well - Bluetooth headphones or earphones.3. Works as a mobile hotspot - other wifi devices can connect.4. The music player sounds quite good, and the MP3s work well.5. Asian characters (such as Korean) are displayed correctly.6. Can connect to a PC and transfer files just like an external storage (both main memory and microSD card)Trouble:1. I could not connect to popular email servers (Yahoo, Gmail, and Outlook).All in all, I like it. It is much easier to answer calls (you can open it). It's lighter to carry in your pocket, too. By the way, I'm not a senior. This phone makes sense to all.

The phone itself appears fine but it only worked for a few days before it stopped charging. I think the battery is dead so I swapped it and got it working temporarily. I went to return the phone within the return period but the seller canceled the return without any communication. I went to return it again and the seller canceled the return a second time. I am working with Amazon to deal with the situation.
