First, let me say I teach art classes so I order a large quantity of crafting supplies and have been disappointed numerous times with βnot as picturedβ products. This beard hair fabric is NOT one of those items! I ended up ordering 40 feet (4 rolls) of this beard hair fabric and was very happy with it. I wish it came in 3β strips rather than the 4β as it is pretty messy when you have to trim it (looks like I attacked a hairy Husky π)! Originally, I bought 1 roll of this but since I needed a large amount of gnome beards I bought a yard of $55 fabric from a popular fabric store but I ended up using this as its quality was better. The bearded fabric was packaged well and just took a couple shakes to get it to lose the flatness from shipping. I highly recommend this beard hair fabric!

When this arrives it's vacuum packed and seems more like a roof tile than faux fur. I opened the pack and fluffed it up and yes, it was pretty smashed. Threw it--dry--in the dryer on low heat for delicate clothes for just ten minutes with a half of a dryer sheet and it turned out great. Wrinkles gone, fur laying nicely. I bought the gray over dark gray and it looks really nice.

Although this was very pricey, I didnβt have any other options so took a chance. The βfurβ is ultra soft, nice long pile, and cuts well! My frazzled grinch looks amazing next to his frazzled snowmen friends π¬

Very lightweight, insubstantial. Glad I ordered only one yard instead of the three I wanted. Might be suitable for small crafts, glued items.
