I must admit, this was delivered from Australia, took awhile but well worth it, It still arrived sooner that indicated. The product fit my wife's 2009 Nissan Senrta SR, The price difference from buying here in the states and over seas, was one of the convincing factors $27.00 + Tax's from this vendor to $68.00 or more from vendors here in the states, this vendor was more detailed on the Amazon web site regarding this product. Kudos for this vendor. Great product looks OEM and fits perfect.

Item: Taros Trade 246-2010-N-85176 Towing Hook for Nissan and other vehiclesPurchased for: 2013 Nissan Sentra SVPurchased: February, 2024Purchase Price: $28.77 from Amazon.comWith the plastic bumpers that are now typical in current vehicle design, it is almost impossible to find attachment points for recovery ropes or straps, where the bumper won't be damaged or destroyed while attempting to recover the vehicle from a mishap. Our Nissan Sentra SV has a sturdy, built-in attachment point below the rear bumper on the passenger side. The recovery point on the driver's side of the front bumper is hidden behind a small, removable plastic square on the bumper. When the square is removed, an accessory tow bolt is screwed into a threaded receptacle attached to the vehicle frame. Problem is, it seems that the accessory bolt is not included on Nissans sold in the U.S. It took me some time on the Internet to find this out. Then, I had to find out what the missing tow bolt looked like and where to find it, so I could order one to include in the Sentra's tool kit. After more searching, it turned out that Amazon carries a variety of tow hooks and loops for the array of cars that require them, both O.E.M. and aftermarket. It seemed that the typical price for this accessory for the Sentra was around $50U.S. However, this Taros Trade 246-2010-N-85176 Towing Hook sold for a little over $28U.S. Of all places, it shipped from Denmark. Took a couple weeks for it to be delivered. The delivery period was fine with me, because I was just buying it as a safety tool for our Sentra and I was just going to throw it in with the spare tire and jack kit in the car when it arrived. I was afraid that this hook would be of inferior quality, because it was so much cheaper than the other offerings on Amazon. But, when it arrived, I was happy to find that it was a solid, heavy chunk of metal. I tested the fitting on the front bumper receiver on our Sentra and it fit fine. I didn't actually try towing the Sentra with the hook because I don't know what an effective test would be, short of actually getting the car stuck and trying to pull it out with the hook. I decided that, like fire extinguishers and other emergency equipment, I would just have to trust that it worked when I needed it. I am happy with the purchase, assuming it will work as intended, when needed.

Identical to the OEM tow hook. My us built 2017.5 rogue did not come with the front tow hook, my wife's 2017 Japan built rogue also did not come with the tow hook. This screws in and gives you a recovery point up front. I wanted this as we live where it snows and getting pulled out of a ditch without this would prove extremely difficult.

This fit my 2012/13 Nissan Qashqai (12 plate) no problem, and has been used successfully to tow it to my nearest garage! Can't say what other vehicles it fits, obviously.

La pièce est compatible avec la Mitsubishi spacestar 2014, avec un très très léger jeu dans les filets, peut-être un peu plus que la pièce d'origine. Cela n'a pas nuit à son utilisation.
