We love it. Good quality, pretty color, and easy to assemble. We have been looking for a small bench for the area we have, and this fits perfectly.

Though this was made to be an outdoor bench I am using it indoors. I am very pleased with it. I feel it is sturdy. We are heavy people in our home, so that really matters. It was pretty straightforward assembling it. The only thing I wish was different is that I feel it was not sanded well before staining it. The stain is very orange. I think they could have picked a better color. It does not have a finish on it. So, if you plan to use this indoors, like I am, realize that the wood surface is rough. I may sand it and put a finish on it in the future.

Bought two. They both look like hey have sat in weather for a year. Two of the allen key lag bolts stripped the heads while screwing them in.

Wife and I sit on our front "porch" and enjoy the mornings together. It's light enough to carry solo back and forth from where I keep it under the eves to full sun.

Easy assembly, well made and beautiful! I did add a few coats of sealer to protect from the elements.

These would be nice benches - the wood is pretty and solid, nice color, smooth finish, except the hardware is so bad it’s beyond belief. The bolts are large and long but they are very very soft metal and they install with a tiny Allen wrench. The pre drilled holes weren’t straight and so immediately, the bolts stripped with the crappy Allen wrench. It took me two trips to Lowe’s to buy replacement parts that I could install with a screwdriver/drill, but sadly, once the bolts where 3/4 of the way into the wood and stripped, it was hell getting them out. I had to wrap the bolts in a rubber glove to get traction and had to use a wrench and pliers to get them out. My hands literally cramped for two days after. Something that should have taken 15 minutes to assemble took two days. Buy them for the nice wood, but take the bolts to the hardware store and replace them with good quality bolts before attempting assembly. Customer service was worthless.

This bench is solid and stable and fairly comfortable - I like it a lot!I did deduct 1 star though - partly for the few patches that are missing finish/varnish, but mostly because of the incredibly hard work it was to put it together! There are not many pieces, should have been a piece of cake, but it wasn't because the pre-drilled holes were not big enough or long enough. Should have had my husband drill them bigger but didn't want to ruin anything so persevered with the allen wrench provided. Wasn't long before it became tight and hard to turn and there's still a good 2" of screw sticking out! I wrapped a rag around the allen wrench to get a better grip and to stop it hurting my fingers. I eventually managed it but took a ridiculous amount of time! 4 of the screws seated in the center of the indentations, but 2 didn't. By this time both the allen wrench and hex 'slot' in the top of the screw were completely rounded so had to leave as is. They don't look too bad and I can live with it.

Trying to put the bench together, we were given a small wrench, which was too small for the length of the screws. One of the screws went in on an angle and now it is sticking out of the top as it went in crooked. A better tool may have not caused this issue.

They specifically mention to NOT use power tools and supply a flimsy Allen wrench to install the six main screws. Problem was with our bench, the pre-drilled holes were far too small. I’m experienced in furniture assembly and tried installing these screws carefully as per the manufacturer’s instructions. But three of the soft composite screws got stuck and the heads soon were stripped. I tried vice grips but they would not move. So we cannot use the bench, nor can we disassemble the bench to return it to Costway. We’re stuck with $260 worth of firewood. We’re very disappointed and will avoid shopping Costway in the future.

I got this bench as a present for my wife and she loves it. The design and size are perfect for our front yard and it is very comfortable, even for me. I am 6'4" and many benches are too low in the back for me to enjoy leaning in. Not this bench. The bench is very well packed and arrived complete and without damages. The included instructions are clear and easy to follow. All parts fit well and the bench assembled quickly and stands straight and level. Build quality is very good and seems to be fully sealed. I did add another coat of sealer, just in case, because the bench will sit outside, exposed to the elements. The bench looks and feels much more expensive than the price suggests. Five stars all the way.

The bench came as advertised. It was very well packed. Everything was in place, secure, and in good condition. The bench assembles relatively easily. It helped to have a 2nd person assisting. Just go slowly. All the pieces fit together tightly and in alignment. I was a bit surprised by how well it is built. It tightened up well and is sturdy. One note: there are wood screws that help secure the frame to the seat. Holes are pre-drilled in the frame, but not the bench seat. You'll need to use a drill to put these in, unless you drill starter holds, then use a screwdriver. But the wood is very hard; I just used my drill carefully. I'll be interested to see how it weathers. I'm very taken by this bench. So far it seems an amazing bench for the price. I had been looking at it for over a year...it was around $280...It was on sale for 33% off, so i snapped it up. The whole thing, with tax, was under $190. (also check out costway. com...where the bench came from.). Much nice. Much pleased.
