These bookshelves are exactly what I wanted. A little challenging to put together but doable. I have bought these before and loved them, this time around the quality is a little less and disappointingly two (2) of the top shelves were split, see my photos for details.

The stand get weak every time you place something on it. The shelves have to be screwed tight just about everyday, while making marks on the wall from movement.

This product was shipped and had a part damaged in transit. I waited to assemble this shelf until my remodel was complete. The item was out of the Amazon warranty period. I reached out to the Tangkula team for a replacement piece and they were quick to reply with solutions to my situation. I would buy from them again in the future.

Was easy to put together, but I have no black covers for cams so not totally satisfied.

Really tile consuming to out together. Came in like 60 pieces and some things just don’t fit right. Paint easily chips off. This thing will last 2 years tops in a bathroom if you just dont touch it.

Be careful as you put this together and your weight distribution, part of it snapped in half as I was assembling it.

I had my handyman assemble this product. It is very sturdy and perfect for my purposes. It goes with all of my other bedroom furniture which is all white. I live in the Palm Springs CA area so light furniture works better for very HOT country.

Part 13 cracked easily during the assembly process. I tried to call customer service to get a replacement part but the directions do not have a phone number. I think this piece will the perfect final piece to raise seeds in my office, one I have this piece replaced. There's no way this is going back in the box partially assembled. :) please help. Thank you!

VERY easy To assemble although I will recommend to use a power drill. The screws that go into the carriage bolt are very long. My only complaint is that it could be a little sturdier but honestly I'm just gonna put I'm just gonna put a couple extra screws through it anyway - I even do this with Ikea furniture that I know I will keep up for a few years.Seller is wonderful. Helped me out when FedEx lost my package. :-)

I should mentions, I own a custom cabinet company, so my standards are high. I needed two simple bedroom bookshelves and don't have the time nor interests to make something like this when I can buy something good enough at this price point. - The packaging is excellent. Every piece in both sets I ordered arrived in excellent shape. - The part number stickers are hard to remove and pretty much un-necessary; remove them before assembling. - The product is painted MDF. The paint quality is B to B-. They appear to be forced dried (to speed manufacturing) and they are drying too quickly and have a slightly wavy pattern as a result. There were a few chips to the paint which I touched up with white latex paint. Once assembled and you are not 4 inches away, the paint quality is acceptable. You will see all of the assembly hardware; it is high quality, but it would be better if not visible. This would be hard to accomplish as a "you assemble" product, unless they included white plugs/caps to cover the hardware. This would have really improved the final quality and I suggest the manufacturer consider this change. - The two long rails come in two pieces (so that it can ship compactly). Would be much nicer if they were one piece, but this would likely make a big difference to the price because of the box size and shipping prices. They are also somewhat weak - more on that later. - All parts appear to be CNC (computer) cut and the accuracy is very good. All parts go together as they should. The joint between the two pieces of the rail could have been machined with less slop, but if you are careful and patient during assembly the finished result is fine. - Assembly is very straightforward and easy to follow. I suggest a cordless impact driver or cordless drill with the clutch setting relatively low. All parts are MDF, so the holding strength with screws is fine, unless you over-tighten and the screw becomes a drill bit and tears out the hole. If that happens to you, fill the hole with wood glue, let it fully dry, then try again being extra careful. Make sure none of the rail holes all filled with sawdust when connecting the shelves; it will get jammed up in the nut-insert and make things difficult. - Recommendation on Assembly instructions: Assemble with the open end of the shelves pointing up to your ceiling and the back of the shelves on the floor. You will have to lift the rails up and align them for the first shelf, but once you have two shelves attached, it goes much easier for the remaining shelves and when it comes time to attach the other rail. I tried using their method on the first kit and one of the rail pieces broke because too much stress was applied to the thin part when I tried to rotate the shelf up. I had to super glue and touch up the crack with touch up paint (NOT included). Not thrilled about this, but hard to notice now that assembled. Learn from my mistake. - No wall attachment L-bracket is included, which would have been nice. Surprisingly, the shelves stay where they are placed, even on a solid surface floor. I will still be adding one L-bracket to each to prevent any mishaps.Overall the product is a B grade in quality, but at this price point and if you aren't looking for heirloom quality, the value is definitely there.Overall satisfied with the product for the price paid and helped us organize a bunch of things in our bedroom.
