I have an upcoming project in my bathroom where I'm going to need to replace the two valve system that was installed 50 years ago and try to replace it with a single valve system. I know I'm going to make mistakes, and over chip in some areas so this facade will be a perfect element to help me mask those imperfections without having to retile entire backsplashThe appearance is not black and the oversized dimensions will allow for the fit to hide some of my imperfections. The quality is based off of the seal that's used, but the installation should be very straightforward as everything that I need was provided inside of the package. The performance and value for the money will be determined on how well it lasts.This is one of those installs that I have dread doing because I've never done Plumbing, but I've worked in a hardware store to know the components that I'm going to need. In addition to this we're going to be taking the existing copper piping and replacing it with Pex fittings to the accompanying replace valve. I will place an updated picture once I've gotten the work completed.

The matte black finish scratches easily, and the plates don’t fit properly over existing fixtures. Installation was frustrating due to alignment issues.
