JRM’97公認と言う、なんとも懐かしい感じさえする、分解可能なブラシモーター。日本国内でRCカー競技が盛んだったころに作られた全日本規格に合わせたモーターで、モーターがブラシレスモーターに移った現在でも、タミヤさんは律儀に生産を続けてくれています。注意する事は非常に大きい電流が流れるので、ESCのモーターコードが、最初から 赤/黒 になっている、大電流に対応したESCが必要と言う事です。モーターコードが 黄/緑 のブラシモーター用ESCに使えば、必ずESCが壊れますので、ターン数で判断するのではなく、モーターコードの色で判断しましょう。タミヤ型ブラシモーターの多くのモーターコードは 黄/緑 で、タミヤ型ブラシレスモーター用ESC TBLEシリーズで使えますが、このスーパーストックのようにモーターコードが 赤/黒 の場合は使えないと思ってください。2025年現在、このモーターを安全に回せるESCは、KO製 VSF-FR2 くらいしかありません。これはかつでこのモーターに合わせて、TRFブランドで発売されていましたが、現在でも不定期ながらKO製として再生産が続いています。

Don't forget to upgrade the bronze bushings to bearings, it takes about five minutes! The Tamiya BZ, RZ, and TZ are all the same regarding the bearing upgrade. It's easy, makes the battery run longer, and the motor sounds quieter, recommended!

ミッドナイトパンプキンに搭載しました。純正モーターからこちらのモーターに交換した所、とても元気よく走るようになり、アクセルオンでウィリーしながらダッシュするくらいです。いい買い物でした
