製品の特性から荒っぽい使い方は禁物ですねじったり強い圧をかければ、他社のどんな製品も簡単に壊れますから、当製品だけ特別に耐久力が劣るとは思いません丁寧に使う前提なら高品質で低価格です

This is the second one of these I bought, and they both broke. The first one last year I at least got some use out of. This second one broke the first time I used it! I think for the price of these things they should not break the tip off right away scribing plastic and resin. I don't think I'll buy another. I am usually happy with Tamiya products but not this one.

Item definitely works in scribing plastic, and with patience cutting the same (doors, panel covers etc.). The case it comes in is very helpful, as it is possible to store more than one engraver. Don't forget to order the handle for this. One thing though, be careful about applying side loads, ie always pull straight. It is hardened metal and can shatter in an instant.

I purchased it to use with some fine line work. Unfortunately on the second pulling stroke with no pressure it snapped sending it flying.Unfortunately I do not feel I have had enough use to do a thorough review.

思った以上に削れますね、以前は目打ちのような筋彫り用の道具でしたがなかなか深堀が出来なかったので非常に助かっています、あと0.15よ0.2も購入予定です。

I’ve been building model cars for over 30 years, I’ve never written a review before but felt compelled to because this has to be the worst product Tamiya has ever made! I own just about every Tamiya tool you can think of, I usually buy Tamiya products first, so I got these very expensive blades only to have it break in the first five minutes of use scribing a straight, shallow line with hardly any pressure. I also have two more sizes and wish I could return them but I already tossed the original wrapper. Don’t spend the money on these! Not only do they scribe a horrible line and leaves burrs and rough edges, but they break with little to no pressure. I actually bought the Trumpeter Panel Line scriber for 1/3rd the price and it’s 10x’s better and actually cleaned up the mess the Tamiya scriber left.

For the price, I assumed it was hardened steel. I used it for the first time last week, to scribe a sheet of styrene, and the tip broke off. This is not a cheap tool, and I was only applying slight pressure to scribe a line. It's very disappointing to have spent $28 for this tool and have it break on the first usage. I expected better from Tamiya.
