Seems made well enough but doesn't work. From 30 feet away with the fob completely inside the fully closed protector it can still unlock the door. Had high hopes for it but typical overselling of a junky product. Glad I didn't buy more as gifts. Do not buy. Look elsewhere.

With all the new ways to steal a car these days, you can’t even be sure you’re safe at home. We bought these to store our key fobs in while we were at home. They really work. Decided to put it to the test and got in the car with the fob in the pouch. The car didn’t recognize that a key was in it. Great bit of extra protection

Seems to reduce the RF signal of the automobile key fob somewhat but probably not enough to keep it from being hacked

I bought these as gifts because of hearing about all the car thefts in the areas. They work! Everyone that I gave them to loves them!

We tested these to make sure they worked and we could use our key fobs in them.

They block the signal as I needed. Seem a bit too bulky.

Read on a neighborhood post about new scam how thieves can triangulate between one at your door (presuming you hang your keys by the door) and one at the car with an RFID reader making it possible to start and drive off with your car. In comments this type of fob cover was recommended and sounded like a great idea. This was a great deal to get 6 of these for about same price as others. Pouch is approx. 3 1/4" x 5" and seemed to be well done. I liked that there were 2 sets of 3 different colored stitching to differentiate between car sets. Inside the pouch was a key ring so the fob can't just slide out. There's another little pocket perfect for ID and a couple CC's. Velcro closure works great. On back is a seemlingly well attached small latch carabiner hook to attach to a lanyard. Overall, I think this is a good product for what it's described to do.However, it works too well! I tried it out and found that it effectively cancels your keyless entry option when you are getting into and out of the car, which I didn't think of when ordering! You have to pull the pouch out of your purse/pocket, undo the flap to access the fob to push the buttons or enter keyless and then close pouch and return to purse/pocket; rather than just walking up to the car and hopping in with keyless entry. So, to me that caused too much inconvenience and I returned them.
