My best friend is an Entomologist (seriously) and I grabbed this as a "haha now you have to teach me what you do!" Except, it was actually really fun sitting down with him and talking about why they collect bugs, what goes on the label, etc.The foam in these is great for storing the already dried bugs, but not great for pinning them - you want thicker - but fluffier foam. (Like the kind you get in your amazon boxes!) The pins are also thinner than the "standard size 2" which they claim to be.BUT if you're looking for a fun activity for kids - that's loosely scientific - this is the kit!
