I got these 3 switched and only needed 2, so I tore one apart to see if it was up to my needs.Surprisingly, it was! The toggle is steel and quite sturdy, the top plate with the pivot is steel, the conductors actually have real copper contactors and aren't just bent sheet metal, the top plate is crimped on in a way that it can be easily removed but when fastened its very secure. The body seems to be made from Nylon and is is quite sturdy. I have faith these will last the remainder of the life of the vehicle they went in, probably out last it. If they ever malfunction, I can disassemble them easily and clean them, then reassemble them. These are MUCH better quality than the cheap switches available at local auto parts stores.

Used to replace a shop fan two speed pull string switch that kept breaking. These switches are well built and easy to install.

Used two of these switches to wire all four speeds of a fan motor, 2 speeds per switch. Worked great for making a shop-built air circulation fan.

I actually returned these. The switches are fine, but note: the threads are not SAE so you'll HAVE to use their boots or buy metric nuts to attach them to your switch panel. The boots are not v ery good....not sure if they are actually rubber....they feel weird.

I used the switch to power a backup/travel camera. The center pole went to the camera with power from either of the other poles. One pole was powered when the backup lights come on, thus -a backup camera to help guide the hook up of my 2 trailers. The other pole was powered by the tail lights. As long as the tail or head lights are on the camera is on, thus I can watch the trailers while traveling, and watch traffic too. ( I have flat bed trailers that carry ATV's & UTV's.)It is working fine and I have used it as planned already.
