I’m a woman who wears a size large in the winter we put on layers of clothing I took this into account when ordering this jacket I went with a XL good choice for my needsI’d buy this jacket again, very pleased with everything that it offers!!

Well, the cold weather has arrived and I've had enough time wearing this coat to give it an evaluation. I was worried about purchasing a coat that wasn't a brand name, but much to my delight, this coat is great! It has a waterproof coating on the shell to keep the light rain and snow from soaking through and the inside is lined with a soft fleece. The hood is removable with a zipper and the cuffs have an elastic that keeps snow from working its way inside your sleeve. The coat fits well and doesn't seem bulky. A great coat and the price was right!

The jacket/coat very warm good quality. The fit is not loose but right on XXL for a large person. Loos nice and is functional. Good value and comfortable.

Perhaps I've gotten spoiled by using reflective technologies in addition to insulation, but this isn't as warm as it looks for the bulk. It is, however, soft and pleasant to wear. It fits loose enough to layer with it, as well.The shell is a water resistant fabric, but not one of the really hydrophobic kind that beads up rather than absorbs in. It's a little better than, say, an old military trench coat ca. the Korean War, if you have seen those. If not, well, the short description is that it sheds most but some gets into the surface of the weave. When that finally breaks through the fabric, there's a path through. That's true of any of the breathable water resistant fabrics, but this one can get there from a particularly heavy downpour. You will also need to keep it clean to keep it shedding water properly. If you have a high-end water resistant shell, it would probably fit over this just fine, too, if you really want to stay dry.Anyway, it's a nice jacket, just not a truly high end affair. It appears fancy and is, in fact, merely a decent one. Then again, as of writing this it's 3/4 to 1/3 the price of the high-end stuff that it resembles, also, so it's up to you if it's worth the price.
