Overall, it’s not bad but I am comparing it to a real K19. The material doesn’t have the same loom and feel as 1000D nylon. The color is also WAAY off. Check pic. Agilite on the left, Kensons on the right. The plate fit also seems “loose”. With standard medium SAPI plates it feels like there’s soo much room but not enough to fit large plates. On a real K19, the PC looks like it wraps around the plates for a tighter look. It does have the internal straps to keep plates in place which I thought was much better than anything at this price point. A very nice design cue from the original. It’ll take some breaking in but I think it’ll be comfortable to wear over time. The cumberbund straps hooks have a big gap and a small nub at the end of the hook. I don’t have to rely in the QD because this thing will unhook itself at the weirdest times. If you want to see if you’d like the K19 but can’t justify the price. See if you like this and then transition to the Agilite K19.

Another reviewer mentioned the similarity to the K19, and they are 100% right. It really is close at a fraction of the cost. Purchased for working out but feel it is perfectly capable of being an entry level carrier.Pros:-release buckles are solid.-extremely comfortable overall-PRICECons:-small frays/loose strings but nothing that would compromise performance-shoulder buckles are "in the way" but alternative buckles are provided and fit great-G hooks on cumberbund suck and slide out easily. I taped mine but a minor upgrade here would go very farOverall, I am satisfied for its intended use and purchased a second one for a friend!

The first thing I look at in a good vest is the shoulder padding, if you have to wear this thing ALL day, you want some comfort. The complete inside of the vest has breathable mesh on any portion of it that will be against your body. The back and chest padding will make your day a little better also, if you are carrying ballistic plates. Speaking of plates, this vest will hold full sized ceramic and AR steel in the front and rear pouches. The plates are retained by internal straps and a Velcro closure that holds in them very securely. Molie loops cover the complete exterior of the vest, so if you don't have room here for your gear, you probably don't need it. The side straps are "pull to fit" so you can make adjustments based on what clothing or weather gear you may have on that day. The best part of the vest is the new, quick release connectors on the waist and shoulder straps. In case of an emergency or the need to remove the vest for any reason rapidly, just give the pull cord a tug and the locking lugs open right up. My son, a Law Enforcement Officer, just purchased his new vest that has these connectors on it, $1200 big ones later, so even he was impressed with this vest. Not everyone needs a vest, but it's better to have it and not need it then it is to need it and not have it.

I'm not a gear snob and I don't have a need for high end top tier stuff, so this will do well enough for me. Stitching is not top grade, as in it's not even double stitching. The rest of the construction is good, material is 1000D nylon, plate pockets check out, and I don't know well enough to comment on the rest.Quick release might be a failure point, I don't know, check out the pics and see for yourselvesOverall this a is far from being top tier but just perfect for a present or an entry level rig on a budget.

Pros: The price literally can’t be beat, it’s light and comfortable while still being practical. :)Cons: I got the “brown” it’s brown… with very pink undertones which is hard to see until you get it making it impossible to match with your other real brown gear. :( just something to keep in mind.

This is probably one of the best budget carriers on the market. Some dude on here, obviously never worn body armor before, said that it is most likely for for a smaller person, wrong. This carrier is exact to spec for 10x12 sapi plate carriers. Works well with my placards from Krydex and Spiritus. Shoulders are fully adjustable as is the cummerbund. Great for anyone from petite to habitual do-nut slayers, shorties to basketball players. As the headline says, compare it to an Agilite K19 Carrier at 1/5th the cost. I highly recommend this carrier to anyone, regardless of your budget. But as with any piece of kit, if you don't train with it, you don't need it.

This vest looks great, is extremely well built, and is made very very well. I loved it at first glance until I put it on. I’m 5’8”, 160 lbs and this vest barely made it half way down my stomach. It’s a shame because I loved the look and functionality of the vest. Built like it’s military issue and not a cheap knockoff, but it’s made for someone no taller than 5’2” or coverage is just under half your torso. Damn shame….

The material and construction of this vest is both have a very "heavy duty" look and feel. The vest seems to be well constructed with top of the line materials.
