What a waste, these could have been so cool. But they aren’t easy to open and involves way too much effort to get them to explode. The idea was there but the execution was not. Do not spend your money on these. Will definitely be returning.

My kids love these grenades. They say they go off as soon as they hit the floor. The quality is great. Better than name brands that I've purchased in the past. The price is good for the quality.

My wife got these for our Nerf-loving son. It was a real struggle to figure out how to open them - not the package, the grenades themselves. There's a little button under the trigger (?) that needs to be *pulled* under the bar that that pin holds and then throw it. It's such a pain to pull, especially if you don't have child-size fingers!I like how far it throws the balls. I like the quality; it feels solid. The thing that will keep it on the shelf is that it takes so long to reload the Nerf balls and it doesn't always open consistently unless we pull the button under the bar.If you just want to throw a heavier toy grenade, this will work. If you want it to launch balls, maybe once the design changes and it opens easier and more consistently, then this would work.If it were more consistent, I'd be ok with the price.Thank you for reading. I hope it helped.Update a week later: Now when we throw it, it opens about 1/4 of the time without needing to pull the button. We've tried throwing on its head, the sides, the bottom - anything to figure out why it was opening sometimes and not others. Still don't know.

hese "tactical" grenades are a joke. They barely hold any Nerf balls – definitely not the advertised amount. I bought them for what I thought would be some fun Nerf battles, but they're constantly needing to be refilled. They're also not as durable as I'd hoped; one of them already cracked after a few throws. Save your money.

Nifty device plagued by poor design. Got these to use as a joke around the house. Ended up having to take it apart to get it to work. The interior spring was too strong, so I removed it allowing the device to work closer to expected. With that fixed, we could toss this into a room and it would throw the foam balls everywhere. It was actually quite impressive. Overall, I think this a fun device but it needs a little work to be perfect.

They're alright for their intended type of play, but they are *very cheap* and finnicky. You need to throw them hard at the ground, risking damaging them, for them to open up. They're still easy to work with, but the force needed to get them to open makes them difficult to effectively use.

This Tactical Toy Hand Grenade set is a fun and creative addition for Nerf CS-style battle games. The design is simple but effective—each grenade is impact-activated, so when you toss it during a match, it disperses the included foam darts for a cool battlefield effect. They're refillable, which adds to the long-term value, and built from fall-resistant material that can take a decent amount of rough play outdoors. The pull-ring adds an immersive, tactical feel without being too complicated for teens or casual players. Ideal for ages 14 and up, it’s a solid pick for group games or outdoor Nerf battles.

According to the pictures, there are two different models (F-1 and MF-36). I got one black and one green, both of the MF-36.First off, when it explodes, it LAUNCHES the balls explosively which is awesome and a whole lot of fun! That said, it takes a very long time to try and load the balls in a very tight space, while simultaneously trying to hold 3 separate levers down, and try to close 3 more panels to close the whole thing up. If you're in a "fight", practically speaking this is a one-use toy. Here's a few other things I liked and didn't like about it:WHAT I LIKE. The yellow foam balls are soft enough that no-one's going to get hurt, but firm enough that they can fly pretty far and you'll still feel it when you get hit. It looks really cool and is a fun attention-getter. It fits comfortable in the hand. Easy to operate (once loaded) - pull the pin and throw. It "explodes" easily and forcefully on impact.WHAT I DON'T LIKE. It's very difficult to open at first. I had to push and pry for a while. Somehow managed to push in just the right spot to trip the spring-loaded catch. You can only fit about 6 of the foam balls, and you have to wedge them in. I can't see how you could possibly fit darts. It's made of really hard plastic, so while it's durable and shouldn't break, it's also not something I'd recommend using inside. It'll definitely break something else!I haven't tried the blue balls yet as I don't have anywhere to test without losing most of them.
